My six-day old son passed away recently. And then the movie The way, way back brings me here, and just wanna dedicate this song to my son Max. It's almost 7 months now without you, and I miss u so much. May your soul rest where the brave ones go.
Im tearing, literally as i type this. I lost my baby at 12 weeks in the womb.. its a heartache i cant get over!! Its a haunting memory i live with every day, i cant sleep. But im also a singer/songwriter. So music is literally the only thing keeping me going! God bless brother, thank you for sharing that!!! 🖤☮❤🙏🏼

This happened to me, too. I was in Houston for work & the hotel concierge sent me to the "Firehouse Saloon" for a drink. There was a cover at the door, which I found weird... Whatever, a Texas thing, I guess. I went in & American Aquarium proceeded to rock my fucking world up on stage.

Ive always felt the same way. I often use song to describe my emotions to people. because they do such a good job of explaining exactly how i feel why bother to muck it up with my words when theyve already said what needs to be said in the most perfect way bthis is absolutely one of those songs.

Found this band summer of 2022 on Greensky Bluegrass station. This music couldn’t have come at a better time. Recently retired and dealing with one family tragedy after another. I’m very limited in my music choices, most only touch surface listening. My soul sings with you! Alone has broke me, giving me the chance to really appreciate the world and all the other broken souls. Amazing Grace is the only one in the past to have such a profound impact. You have succeeded in bringing me to my knees sorry for any wrongdoings I have ever committed. I have dedicated this song to all I love! Thank you, I’ll see you in St Louis, June 2023

My wife of 14 years left me just over a year ago... Its no easier now than it was the day she didnt come home from work. These songs are so hard for me to listen to now because they use to be happy songs that reminded me of fun times but now it just brings about so much pain. I miss her every day.

This song has been a long time favorite of mine. I saw Trampled By Turtles at the Beal Street Music Festival in Memphis, and this was the first song they played. Such a great experience.

I’ve watched the way way back several times, and I just love this song! When I looked up the lyrics online, I saw that it was dedicated to your son and his very short life. So heartbreaking sad to hear. Thoughts and prayers go with you and him.
I've seen these guys live twice and i just fall in love again every time i hear this song. The mandolin player is breaking strings, and the guy on the fiddle is absolutely shredding, it's so awesome. And seriously, i just want to sink my teeth into the banjo player. yum yum :)

Just finished watching Way Way Back. Good movie, but TBT, I'm not a newbie. Just watched them in Black Mountian this pass Thursday and if would have been off Friday I would have followed them to Virginia. I've seen them 5 times live and they just keep getting better and better! My favorite band by far.....Keep up the good work guys and until the 6th time!

I was devastated when I saw i missed them playing at that venue. If I was a supreme being, I would have created it all just to have this band play at that glorious location. I would have been content with all the wrong in the world getting to see just one moment of such a perfect mix of all things right.
