Hi Arthur one of the best reviews of the 556i ( my everyday choice to wear) I’ve seen ,spot on information spoken clearly and no needless dross. Came across this by chance but have subbed .👍🏻 Thanks for taking the time and effort to educate us .
I believe, in regards to there being no mark up if you are wishing buy the bracelet at a later date, actually comes from straight from Sinn. When I bought my 104 on leather and then purchased the bracelet a few month later from Sinn's website I didn't pay any inflation on the price. :)
Excellent and extremely informative review 👍 just subscribed. I will be getting this watch (my 1st watch) for Christmas and can't wait to get it on my wrist! ✌️
Great watch! I own it’s big brother, the 856. Better technology (dehumidifying capsule, tegimented, etc) and slightly larger at 40mm. I highly recommend either.
I'll be honest, I was a bit annoyed when I first started this video. But this is actually a really good review of the watch. You went over all the important details without wasting too much of the viewers time. Cheers!
I agree on the strap monster Mike. And as you know, bracelets work well on some pieces but not so well on others. And sometimes I am surprised, like the Parmigiani Hebdomadaire on a bracelet. I would have thought it would be big, heavy, etc. Not so much. It wears well and I like it more than a strap.
Excellent review Art. It was a pleasure meeting you this morning at Starbucks with Bill Sanders. The watches you showed us were very interesting and quite good looking. I hope you enjoyed Watch Time, I know I did.
Excellent information. Very informative. Keep up the work sir. May I ask, in your opinion, oris big crown or this watch in terms of durability in field work and rugged work. Thanks again.
Very good review. By the way, the red second hand does not "pop" if you are one of the 8% of adult males (like me) who is red-green deficient color-blind. That is why a lot of fire trucks are now painted lime-yellow instead of red. Red is no more visible than black in the darkness. For me white and yellow hands are great, orange is OK, and red is not. Other than that, it's a great review of a great watch, and I'm subscribing. Thank you.
Hello Gordon. The 92% of us who do not have red-green visual deficiency rarely think of that. Thanks for pointing it out. And I'm glad you liked the review. It IS a great watch.
Hi Arthur, very nice 'to the point' review. I'm ogling the 556i myself and didn't know the version with red second hand. I'll have to start saving up to justify this in some time. Your voice is very nice to listen to!
I had one of these on the bracelet. It was my very first "real" watch, my first mechanical watch. My brother always commented about it, so I gave it to him a couple years after I bought it for his birthday. By then I had two Omegas, a Tudor and two Rolex.
Just 2 snags with this watch. I would love the second hand to go further out. I would love to see a 12 lume differential for orientation. Am I a dic K ? Maybe
both are real lookers. I think your choice will depend on how and when you plan to wear it, Alan. To me, blue might be more sporty and brown more dressy.
@@artl52 my first choice was blue but the Mocha is starting to grow on me. Yes brown seems more dressy and i'm set on the 5 link bracelet over the H link version either way. I can't wait to make that order!
Perfectly clear and informative review, just like the watch! I hope to own one (with the red hand) someday. Thanks!
Thx Kevin. I love this watch.
I've heard heaps about these Sinn models, but for the first time someone explained the different versions of that specific eta movement - thanks!
Thx Calle. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I don't think Sinn is as popular as it should be. Cheers!
I agree

thx Paul. I also appreciate to know when I hear that watchfriends enjoy my videos.

Excellent, well balanced review. But, I’m pretty certain the dial has a glossy finish and not matt!
Thx Philip. And you are correct about the dial ;)
Good review, I’ve been contemplating on getting a Sinn. Once I saw the EZM 13 I was hooked, now all that’s left to do is saving up the money ;)
thanks Michal. The EZM is a nice model.
thank you for perfectly explaining the movement!
Glad it was helpful!
Very nicely done Arthur. Thank you! Enjoying my 556 IB. Love the pop of Red in your piece.
Thanks for watching, jhjax99. That red pop is what drew me to this one. The IB is also great.
The 556 IB is the one I want to buy. Did you get it on a strap or a bracelet?
strap. The "B" is gorgeous.
Excellent and extremely informative review 👍 just subscribed. I will be getting this watch (my 1st watch) for Christmas and can't wait to get it on my wrist! ✌️
Awesome, thank you!
Great music, Arthur. Artie Shaw, I believe (?).
excellent review Arthur, very informative. been looking at 556I for a while now but seriously considering the red edition you have.
Great watch! I own it’s big brother, the 856. Better technology (dehumidifying capsule, tegimented, etc) and slightly larger at 40mm. I highly recommend either.
I heartily agree!

Thx 87 - I appreciate that. I always try to tell a good story.
Great review Arthur. Thanks.
thx Chad. Still at work? ;)
Cool watch, great description. Great camera work.
Thanks Hanknova. This is such a great watch and very camera friendly. ;)
I wish Sinn made inhouse movements
Such a great video, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good review. I am saving up for a 104.
Thx Mike. The 104 is also a nice piece. Are you going for the strap or bracelet?
Strap. The 104 with the white dial should be a real strap monster. I am not that big on bracelets....for me.

Good to meet you too. Watchtime was fun although my bank account took a hit with the order of the Czapek. Thanks for watching
COSC specs are -4 to +6 seconds per day.
4:23 Any ideas why the top movement here does not have incabloc shock protection?
not a clue but there's gotta be a reason I would think.
Sin are great watches . I love my 104 and miss my u1 wish I would’ve never gotten rid of myu1 will have another
very much agree. I have a 104 as well.
Excellent thank you. All the info we need
thanks, Steve. A great piece I think.
Great work
Thank you so much, Matt 😀 I really enjoy sharing my collection.
Excellent information. Very informative.
Keep up the work sir.
May I ask, in your opinion, oris big crown or this watch in terms of durability in field work and rugged work.
Thanks again.
thx. Oris and Sinn are slightly different. I think the SInn is a little more dressy. Both are rugged I think

Nice review. Is it ok for a 7inch wrist?
Yes, absolutely. and Thx
Wonderful watch 😍
Hi Arthur, very nice 'to the point' review. I'm ogling the 556i myself and didn't know the version with red second hand. I'll have to start saving up to justify this in some time. Your voice is very nice to listen to!
Thanks Till I think you can't go wrong with Sinn and this watch in particular.
You said matte black dial but I thought the i models were glossy darker black than the a version. Can you confirm please?
Hey Z - I don;t know what I was smoking when I did this video (haha) but you are correct. It is a glossy but I'd call it almost a piano lacquer black.
I had one of these on the bracelet. It was my very first "real" watch, my first mechanical watch. My brother always commented about it, so I gave it to him a couple years after I bought it for his birthday. By then I had two Omegas, a Tudor and two Rolex.
I think everyone should have a Sinn!
You missed out.
I’m so torn weather to pull the trigger on this or save more for the Tudor North Flag🤔
Go Sinn 👍👍👍
slight different categories I think. Both are fine watches. The Tudor may have a little better usefulness whereas the Sinn is clearly a tool watch.
It is not a “matt” dial. The 556 a is matt finish.
yep, you are correct.
It's clearly not matte black is it
Awesome watch. I own the regular 556 I and the blue dial 556 I B
Hello Un-maned. We both have good taste haha. That blue version is really, really nice. Thx for watching.
Length, L2L?
46mm
I think they now have SW200 which is a bit of a letdown considering the price.
I agree
My dial looks gloss not matt
Just 2 snags with this watch.
I would love the second hand to go further out.
I would love to see a 12 lume differential for orientation.
Am I a dic K ? Maybe
Hey Jinx - you made me look again. You're right! just a little bit longer would be even better. Thx for watching and good eye!
I'm saving up for the 556i, I can't decide between the brown mocha or blue dial!
both are real lookers. I think your choice will depend on how and when you plan to wear it, Alan. To me, blue might be more sporty and brown more dressy.

go for oris big crown propilot date!
good choice!
It would be a Damasko.
OK. Another excellent choice!
It's rs
Patek Philippe is far too pretentious to make something this cool.
Haha - I like that Mr. Walters!
Patek Philippe already makes a pilot watch :)
Hello Luciole. You're right, of course. That was a bit of hyperbole. ;) Thx for watching.
If it’s not Rolex or IWC, you’ll flip it eventually
Interesting. I have many non-Rolex pieces that I don't intent to flip. And I actually flipped my Explorer for an upgrade to an FP Journe. ;)
Sinn’s website (sinn.de) has PDF info sheets for all current production models in which the caliber is specified.
So many factual errors in this review and extra unnecessary nonsense.
Hello Guru. It would be helpful if you were specific about my "factual errors" and "unnecessary nonsense". I'm always willing to learn and improve.
