I like how shooting rapidly effects character's hearing
i recently shot a old luger 08 without ear protection because im a dumbass and omg if the game reproduce the effect accuratly without breaking the gameplay. im impressed
@@dakota2166 Shot a 22 pistol without ear pro because I was curious and that’s the last time I’ll ever do that.
@@dakota2166 Basically, the more you fire/the bigger the bullet in game, the sound for you starts getting fuzzier until it's like a sort of buzzing/ringing. Not sure if it's accurate to real life, but it's meant to punish players for spraying and preying when audio/awareness of your surroundings is the most essential of skills in Hunt. 2:26 or 5:38 is a good example of what it sounds like.
Spent a afternoon shooting shotguns both 20 and 12 gauge at somepoint the ear plug in my left ear came out yea that shit was rinign for the next 2 weeks but at the time when i was shooting i didnt notice anything

I‘ve always liked how these were in the older basics of weapons that have been either prototypes or they were designed from the prototypes that lead them too be what their known as. Really unique & the reloads are also unique too their own. Entertaining game too.

Crytek did a good job to with the new army, you can see that the spent cases you take out have there primers striken
I love highly polished historical shooter games, it’s super cool to see how these ancient weapons of war worked.
They are not "ancient" also they are not that historical.

It's not all the weapons but I appreciate the effort! This game is amazing btw, super underrated. I highly recommend to give it a try despite the learning curve.
There's more on the way too, there's too much to cover in one video without it being one hour long :D

The fact that some weapons have fabricated names and some have the real names is really weird. It isn't a licensing or copyright thing I don't think because, for example, the Bergmann company hasn't existed for like 80 years, and yet the Bergmann pistol has a fictionalized name. (The only other trend I could see is with stuff like "Springfield" being state arsenals rather than companies/designers, but then the Lebel, Vetterli, Nagants, etc. exist too...)

Gotta say the mosin-nagant standard and caldwell uppercut are my 2 favorite to run, however the Ketterli and lebel are my close seconds.

Well if they did it would be very annoying in-game since the reloads would take even longer. Realism doesn't always mean more fun
@@0p32 Well, honestly, it's not like they need to be incredibly sluggish when using the ejector. A proficient gunslinger could reload a single action pistol using the ejector about as fast IRL as the characters do in-game.

Ummmm no the extractor rod was the reason why reloading was a lot faster than just throwing the gun up and down hoping a casing falls out one of the chambers.

@@0p32 an animation using the _extractor rod_ wouldn't need to take any longer than to stupid little jiggle they do to remove the case.

The game is definitely not at it's final. It has a lot of upcoming updates planned with new bosses, maps and weapons. For example The Sparks Pistol and The Romero Alamo are going to be released in the near future.

I would definitely weild the bomb lance, a strong melee weapon, a silent range weapon, and an explosive weapon.
do with the gunslinger and perk that save ur bullet when mid reload (bullet grubber)
there is also fanning and levering that increases the fire rate for revolver and lever action
Gunslinger mode is absolute trash and I advise any new player to stay away from it. Also the perk that you were explaining is called bullet grubber

@@danielal8230 not that. Gunslinger compared to Hunter mode is very bad. Gunslinger is very uncontrollable and not as fluid as Hunter mode in what you want to do with your gun. In gunslinger mode your gun sticks out and can be seen through walls. Also, fov in gunslinger is much lower than in hunter mode. Even if you can put your gun down in gunslinger like you can do in hunter mode, it still isn't as fluid or good as Hunter mode. In hunter mode you can melee much more easily and it has wayyy better gun control and discipline. Almost every experienced player plays with hunter mode

This game hands down has the coolest weapons out of any nvideo game ever made, I really wish it wasn't an extraction shooter but they gotta follow the crowd or else they get no where... everything now is either extraction shooter or battle royale.

There is a stripper clip but it's used once you've used all the ammo

@@empirednw6624 Yup. I think it's used after all 10 rounds are fired but it's still kinda slow so that it can balance the gun because before it was a bit op
@@0p32 most games that have a c96 these days have you dump the remaining rounds and reload with a stripper clip instead of manually topping the gun off bullet by bullet.

I love the sounds for everything except the Winifield. For some reason it just sounds weak
It sounds weak because it is a weak gun in terms of its ammo in the game. It uses compact ammo and has a "weak sound" and low recoil with a weak bullet penetration and slow muzzle velocity. However it's a deadly weapon in game

it finished since 2019, they keep making content like DLC and legendary content (but DLC is up to you that are you gonna buy or not, it's not effect the gameplay just a skin and pure cosmetic)
It’s a live service game new map coming in 6 months new boss in 1 bunch of new weapons every couple months. No where near finished. All of it is free except for cosmetics
This is one hell of a unique and interesting game

I hate that this a battle royal game that simply throws zombies or whatever in with other players and calls it innovating. Also none of these firearms are outdated in the slightest and it's makes me sad that we don't them in use today
This game isn't a battle royale and it's PvP not PvE. Actually play the game but you'll probably quit after your first few deaths because you love warzone
Excellent variety... the only thing missing is a very early form of semiautomatic rifle. Think a Selbstlader 1906 or a Model 8. And no, the Nagant Avtomat doesn't count.
afaik this game is set in late 19th or early 20th century so the molotov shouldnt be called molotov but instead a bottle bomb or something. its a small error i often see in games set before ww2.

I really dislike the current Uppercut reload animation. In all other weapon animations your hunter is highly proficient, but suddenly they're struggling when it comes to this pistol. Not to mention it looks like the thumb elongates unnaturally. They need to either revert or rework it.
i mean it is a revolver firing rifle rounds, so it should be a little bit more difficult to reload, also its for balance, imagine being able to reload a revolver that can 2 shot you at long range as fast a normal convertion
I always thought it was cool how you could see that the rounds were heavier just from sound and animation. The thumbs weird tho fuck you for pointing that out and ruining it for me.
I mean it's a gun with long ammo, that and it's for balancing reasons as well. Uppercut is the most preferred sidearm for a reason in Hunt since it's basically a pocket rifle.

Hunt's reloads are already so slow though. What game has more realistic non-tactical reload speeds id like to know.

@@redpill7238 Hunt is only slow for new players. I get into fights 5 or 10 mins into the match. You just need to move quickly and know the spawns. Also other teams will be drawn towards gunfire so you'll probably be fighting another team after you kill the first one. It's a very fun game with Very unique PvP
Slow paced? Lol try making it 5 minutes in a match without getting scared and running away next time.
