There's a group of people in America who seem to be constantly projecting, as a group. Everything they accuse "the others" of doing is what THEY are doing themselves.
Projection can be a dirty, dirty game.

Coincidentally, this group has basically invented and perfected psychology. And using it to control us to the absolute maximum.
They got us to regard FUNNY PAPER as the basis of our economy.

A long time ago, I had a psych instructor who told me that he once did an experiment. In one of his classes, he asked his students to write down what annoyed them the most about the person sitting next to them. One woman complained that the woman sitting next to her talked too much. The instructor said that the funny thing is that the woman who wrote that never once shut up during the entire semester! 😆

@@JolinHard well I do have negative self talk to Time and was more frequent in the past but i personally tried to understand what's the benefits..and the question is it criticism and helpful or just you doubting and destroying yourself.. and even if it is logical is it worth to think of the idea I'm failure and end up becoming more of failure and doing nothing.. it's at this point the mind is only hindering itself.. the thinking would stay and would whisper in but as long as you know that it's not helping and just doubting and you aren't able to improve or act.. then i would replace it with words similar to : come on it takes time to heal and it's natural or it takes time to learn .. or just do it to improve then yesterday.. idk if that will help but hopefully it does 🤍🤍

My Mother had twins and after the pregnancy that was very hard on her body became obsessed with calorie counting. She has and always is to this day in her late 60's obsessed with being thin and counting the calories seems to relieve her anxiety with her relationship with food. I see it! She says oh thank God it's only 2 points (weight watchers reference). The projection on myself and my 3 sisters to say the least has always been pretty detrimental and very true to her since we were kids. I now thankfully have recognized her ahem... comments.... as projection (I'm 5'5 135 lbs pretty normal ha). Yes! I had to do soul searching though. And I practice not to continue the cycle onto others despite me always knowing I'll struggle with that number on that evil scale! Thanks Doctor! Your content is always so awesome.

I've been practicing mindfulness and working on self-confidence for a long time and I've never encountered such a succinct and concise explanation of what comprises the mindfulness that creates self-confidence. Projection is the thing that can creep back in, just when you think you've moved beyond something because what's the first step in grieving? Denial.

Is there a definition for when a person owns even other people's insults as their own; that is: when a person believes that all insults are because of their own behavior and can be resolved by internal means?

Now I’m confused about what projection is. I thought it was seeing something in others that you don’t see in yourself. Expressing your mentality onto others and assuming what their intentions are because you have those type of intentions.

This is why I have an exhusband 😂. I know I have my own "demons" but my lord, all that man needs is a screen for all that projecting.
For me I can usually determine if someone is projecting, when my response to them is, I think you are being hyperbolic.
