This scene got me, I cried. and the portrayal of both The Machine and Samaritan could not have been more perfect. Samaritan being black text on a white background (darkness within the light) and The Machine being white text on a black background (light within the darkness) and as the text from the machine not being pure white but degraded to almost fading to the black symbolizing its imminent death. They could not have done this scene any better than this.

I've always liked Pink Floyd, but I'd never hear this song before. My parents and I like to watch this show a lot and one time while my parents were watching it I passed by the tv and stopped to see what was happening. Thankfully the closed captions were on, or else I may not have been able to find this song. I'm so happy that Pink Floyd is still recognized by modern culture, this song fits perfectly with the scene.
One of the best dramatic scenes that I've seen in a long time. Not only is the 40 year old Pink Floyd song perfect, but the song and the Machine's willingness to sacrifice itself brings together a few issues that Finch has yet to face. When he says the Machine is "cryptic and withholding" it is emulating his approach to everyone close to him, but it also only speaks to those Finch has come to trust - and he is still "cryptic and withholding" with them. Finally, he disliked that the Machine spoke so much to Root but as the Machine detects, Finch is torn over its independence and continued existence. Surely one of the best scenes on the best show network television has to offer.

+Atari-Dude 1 You are correct. The machine previously communicated with Finch through signals such as lights flashing. It never spoke to him in our basic symbolic form of communication, which is why he was perturbed that it spoke to Root. What is even more spectacular is that he does not realize when he says that the machine is "cryptic and withholding" that it mirrors his approach to those close to him. Indeed, he speaks to John and Root more than anyone, which is what the machine began to do after its reboot. It is amazing that they could find the perfect song, which is 40 years old!

They have picked it up. It brought me to this show. But this isn’t much a show as it is an experience, an epiphany to how great a story can be. A story the rarely if ever gets dull. A story that has caused me laughter, scream at the screen in anger, uncontrollable weeping and a connection. It even replaces Lost as my favorite show of all time and trust me that is no easy task.

Kaç sezonluk emek son sezonda yok oldu gitti.. Büyük hayal kırıklığıdır gerçekten..

Every song chosen by them in this series was perfect even hurt was brilliant as well.

A story that has caused me laughter, scream at the screen in anger, uncontrollable weeping and a connection. It even replaces Lost as my favorite show of all time and trust me that is no easy task.
Kate Russell I think they have dropped it ..Netflix has dropped it without no warning😡😡😡

I was stunned that they got the rights to this song.
Prison Break is incredible but Person of interest is belongs to my heart. ❤
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Enflict Paintball best show ever
@@bosnjodobri8260 true that.

1:37 “You are my creation. I can’t...I can’t let you die.” ... damn
What a show this was! In my top 3.
Man i watch this video way to much. cant wait for the new season. This was suchhhh an epic finale episode. Probably one of the best scenes ever shot in my opinion. So intense.
Instant goosebumps!
Diziyi btiireli yıllar oldu ama birdaha böyle dizi bulamadım işte napalım açıp izliyoruz arada
Fringe izleyebilirsin.
Dizinin gerçek bir müptelası olarak söylüyorum. Bu iş böyle bitmemeliydi!! Bu sahneyle nirvanaya çıkardıkları diziyi son sezonda aceleye getirerek çöp ettiler! Kaç sezonluk emek son sezonda yok oldu gitti.. Büyük hayal kırıklığıdır gerçekten..
best ending! this show needs new season!
music and atmosphere very well...
Holy fuck. That was epic. I was clapping and crying when this came up
What an incredible scene ....watching the last season now....already depressed that the show will be ending for me soon
such a good scene, who knew white arial text could be so emotioal
Never watched POI before now I'm interested in beginning!
+Daniel Chapman It is surprisingly good.
All four Seasons are on Netflix. I would check it out if I was you, but I already did, and it was awesome. Remember, the machine as a backdrop becomes a character later as it progresses. Pay attention and you'll know what I mean.
Thanks TimeTravelinc I'll check it out now!
+Daniel Chapman
Hey guy if you guy's are interested in saving the show, we can use more signatures here : www.change.org/p/save-person-of-interest#petition-letter
+Daniel Chapman it is a great series! Keep in mid that at least imo it gets better with every season. It started kind of like a "normal" CSI series but evolved into something so much better! I just hope Netflix picks it up and keeps it going a little more after season 5...
ah bee duygular şelale
8 Dislike Nice try Samaritan
hahaha :D
Probably greer and martine too, where are you now?!
