I just played widow in ranked for the first time yesterday and after a couple headshots had the enemies go winston, tracer, lucio, sombra. I felt like I actually did something. Wasn't hitting anything like what you're doing but felt like i was lol.
Yeah, that’s what it’s like playing Widow atm. You even show signs of popping off and the next thing you see is a Sombra. If you manage to get value even while they have a Sombra, next they’ll change their tank to a Ball or a Winston and so on. It's extremely annoying to main Widow in the current state of the game. Thanks for the tip I'll definitely try to use them when I go against the Sombra and a tracer... My biggest problem is going to be turning around cuz I don't play a super fast sensitivity and I'm on controller
I recently upgraded my monitor for 144hz to 240hz, and hitting head shots on widowmaker feels so much easier. I'm not saying more frames with making u a better player, but it certainly helps landing shots.
as a Sombra main kinda is sad to see these sombra play like that. i usally use virus first then shoot widow in the head it most time from behind but other time in some unexpeted places it works almost every time, but like you say were getting more predictable i know that so why we have to being more creative.

Im so confused.. how was he able to point tracers blink in the direction left or right even though he was facing straight ahead and never once changed his direction? I play on console and this seems quite literally impossible. It just sends you barrelling forward

Playing Widow is definitely an experience. It’s like you’re having 2 fights at the same time always.

I think the best way to counter is to know how to play whoever it is. Like you have to know how they're going to play to know how to respond.

@@guigoinz112 sometimes when i play widow, and IM getting carried they still swap to counters.. its so ridiculous. I'm obviously the problem LOL
