You didn't get banned for just that. It takes a certain number of reports within 30 days. You were slinging slander over multiple games and/or saying other things to upset people to get banned for a full month, usually you get a warning and 2 week suspension first.
What you're saying matters much less than the number of reports unless you're going full hard R with no spaces.
