I have the Hover 1 Altai and from the looks of it, they are the same mfg. My ebike has odd characteristics. It does not gradually accelerate with pedaling, it takes off, dangerous when I turn and simply rotate the pedal from hitting the ground. When I stop pedaling the power continues for a second, enough to throw a rider off when navigating a slow obstacle. When I use the throttle only there is significant lag from twist to actual power - it's sketchy when turning tight, I lean and nothing for a second. Does yours have any of these habits and what part controls these on/off characteristics?

This controller limits the motors performance as max amps is 22A which results in top speed of 30 mph (48 km/h). If it was 25A controller the acceleration would be slightly quicker and tops speed would be 32-33mph (50km/h). The benefit of the 22A controller gives you longer range over 25A control as less draw from battery. If you want long range change the setting from 22A to 20A and you range will be over 30 miles (48km) or more
I have a V9 Version l. Same but with rear suspension. How do you clean your bike? Because I use power sprayer, now I saw that opened controller case, I think its bad to spray water because that controller is so vulnerable.

You are right. It is under the seat and the rear fender does kick water up so to get the controller wet the bike would need to soaked and maybe upside down. When i remove the seat again I will put controller in ziplock bag
The bike is good for the money and delivery in 3-7days. I wouldn’t put much money into this bike because by the time you upgrade the controller , brakes and add a bigger or 2nd battery you can just by the Yolin dual battery ebile with aluminum frame and its much better bike out of the box. I've made my own e-bikes and scooters so I know a fair bit about buidling and the pros and cons of DIY vs buying but for the sake of this video pretty much all production e-products are made to fit laws & regulations so theyre limited with cheap controllers or cheap motors.

I use garden hose in light mode and try not to water log the components. Keep battery installed so contacts don’t get wet

Thats the one i bought, it doesn’t work for the Ouxi. For example the horn, light and turn signals don’t work, there is no connection for them
