I imagine that, if this were actually in the pokemon world, this city would be where the league for this region would be held
In reality if you put all the big attractions in the center like that, it will be a massive traffic jam 100% of the time.

Amazing build, expecially with the cinematics at the end, so many builders don't care about that, or leave the economics apart. Not only a cool sight but economically viable as well.
But in the pokémon universe it could be viable. Maybe off the Alolan islands - it wouldn't be too crazy as the Aether foundation in Sun & Moon is an artificial island off of Alola (in anime). It could be possible to build them near each other making it easier to get to the Alolan islands if you work at the Aether foundation (their pretty rich) and maybe you can get a ride pokémon there and back plus it would get a lot more tourists in Alola, so it would benefit but the price is too high and anyway Alola need to try and deal with Ratata and Ultra-Beast so it probably wouldn't happen. It is an interesting idea though.

Man, this city project is simply fantastic. How to mix a great game from our childhood with a great game of the present. The feels. And the brilliancy of a zoo used as Safari Zone is simply too great to handle. Really appreciate the effort you put into it, you are great :)
The fact you had those eight massive tourist hotspots (representing the Gyms) surrounding a huge stadium just made this amazing build with its distinct zones and routes all that better. Thank you for your time and effort into this wonderful build.
A masterpiece using VANILLA game and techniques (no Move it, Anarchy etc.) - nothing could be more amazing! It is the IDEA that makes the work shine!

Can't resist anymore - this one finally pushed me over the edge to getting this game. Great job on the city, and thank you for listing all the mods etc, that is what finally tipped the balance for my lazy ass.

@@lancinekeita4823 he is using custom map with cheats to build this. In normal game you have a very small budget at start and start by building most basic things to cities like this if you have the talent. :) Just look for his cities skyline normal/no mods playthrough if you want to see how game really looks in action.
Wow, excellent work! Your attention to detail is immaculate, and your ability to balance functionality and aesthetics (unlike many prominent players) is admirable. The fact that you did this with at most a minimal usage of workshop mods commands further respect for this. Well done!

That is very pretty. I particularly enjoyed how that airfield fit in perfectly with the shops across the street and the nice amount of forestry.
I will stand by this when I say this man is one the best when it comes to design. His realism with his city play throughs are near perfect I wish I was this good lol. I guess practice is the key
I think he should upload his creations to the workshop. It's the little things, the intricate small details, that really flesh it out. For example the forest is not just random trees, I actually felt like he knowns forests, as it looks like how trees grow, chaining from one another, big ones shadowing out the smaller ones.

John ask T4rget to try to do HK. And to recreate its traffic.
The problem with real towns is they never go by the original zoning. Even planned towns and planned cities don't go by the original zoning. It mostly is due to money from housing developers wanting to put something where it is not zoned by in the original plan. They mostly don't live there either.
Not only did you build a pokeball map, you made it work with all the game's goals. Good traffic, happy population, little pollution, and I don't think you even used any mods? A+++++++
I think the only non-cosmetic \ sandbox mod used is literally the No Fires mod, and it's still, basically, a Sandbox mod. Control over the situation is what sandbox is all about, right?
Man the feels... This really takes me back. This is such a cool build. It looks like the place where the Pokemon World Championship would take place. A place where the top trainers from all over the world convened and battled it out to determine the true World Champion.
OMG best thing to wake up to! Love the thematic build and the way you make the city still fully functioning. Love those badge gyms "buildings" surrounding the stadium! Also those red-roofed building makes for great colour! Nice!!!

This is simply amazing. Imagine if Pokemon and actual city like this exist. It'd be a prime tourist destination! Especially with the Safari Zone area and the Tournament center. Though I feel you should've added tall buildings surrounding the stadiums that reflect 5-star hotels and whatnot. Great job!

Welcome to Pokéball City! The only place where all 8 Gyms and the Pokémon League are in one spot, making for the most boring Pokémon journey in history.
Fantastic job on the city though.
But each gym starting from level 30 and you only get 1 level 5 magikarp with no pokeball in any store

I could see that possibly being a game plot...someone (Probably the Evil Team) makes an artificial island shaped like a pokeball, but what people don't know is that it IS A GIANT CITY SIZED POKEBALL!

I also noticed a "where the heck is the freaking hearse" sign at the stadium which made me curious about the traffic density of the city.
A nice touch to the city would to have incorporated dirt paths so it’d be a lot like the games.

My opinion/imagination:
Region: Pokemon island, where new and most pokemon live
The Pokemon island league is in the middle.
There are 8 gyms (or more)
Ice, Fire, Grass, Water, Poison, Dark, Bug, and Fairy.
Safari Zone filled with a ton of grass types and some rock, ground, ice, water, flying types.
Urban parts are filled with Poison, Ghost, Dark, Fighting, Normal, Flying, Drago, Steel, Electric, Psychic types.
Ash's Partners along the journey: Misty and Brock and many more along the way.

Really love your videos. Wil you ever make a design of a city witouth unlimited cash? Step for step.
If you watch design and manage from the start, you'll see that you don't really need to be afraid of money. Spend it wisely, take out one or two loans at the start to make sure all necessary services are covered and you have a positive cash flow in no time.
I'd say the game is actually too easy once you survive your third milestone or so, you never have to worry about money anymore.

I wonder about the center of the island,..as it is a focus point for your airplanes turning to land in a airport(s).
Anytime I see a video like this I can only think how cool it would be if you could like import these maps into a game like gta so you could go down to the ground and play in some of these awesome cities
