That texture is gorgeous. Could you please do a tutorial on how to create these textures?

Oh my word.. this is amazing.. I've been wishing for something like this for many years. This is completely genius.. The paper texture getting rid of those disgusting pixelated aliased edges.. Genius.

I am going to paint an original van Gogh painting for my own private use, using Rebelle 7, and will be creating three videos of my painting and printing with varnishing process (van Gogh: Wheat Field with Cypress trees: 73 cm High × 93.4 cm Wide).
It would be "AWESOME" if R7 displayed the Nano Pixel Export sizes of 200%, 300%, and 400% on the Create Canvas window. This way, when I enter in 24.3 cm x 31.1 cm on the canvas size, with a 300 DPI, R7 would display 73 cm x 93.4 cm if I use the 300% export value (the original size of the painting).
But, I'm not sure if my math is correct. We have to accommodate for pixel resolution size of the current monitor and DPI that we want to generate. This is why it would be great if you could do the calculations for us on the Create Canvas window. I will be posting this question on the forum for an explanation and will update this with your response. Thank you!

Thank you for this showcase! Such cool physics simulations. Can this help generate detail to 300dpi instead of 144dpi for print?

Yes, it can be adjusted when creating an artwork. If not a Rebelle user yet, feel free to try demo version. You can download here> www.rebelle.escapemotions.com/

@@EscapeMotions Thank you. In this example you could see his document was 300dpi at the top of the window. But when he exported to 4X it went down to 144dpi. Is this a bug?

Does the nano pixels look (effect) show only if printed with Rebelle or still show and can be printed with another software like photoshop when saved as a PSD file ?

You need to ask this question on a PS forum. I don't know if PS will "pixel-ize" the image when it prints it back out.

Thanks for the video, very informative. Questions: If one wants to print a finished painted piece at 16"x20", can you create the piece at half size (8"x10") at 150 dpi then use nano pixels to print at 200% without losing quality? Or do we create the piece at 8"x10" at 300 dpi then print at 200% using nano pixels? Or is best practice to construct the piece at 16"x20" at 300 dpi? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for your question, if you want to use NanoPixel Export you can work with 8"x10" at 300 dpi canvas and then export it larger.

Pro has the NanoPixel technology and the true color mixing technology. Definitely worth the extra cost!

@@michaelwsheeler Exactly. One current issue is performance issue which Escape Motions will fix in a future release. Until the fix arrives, turn off nonpixel and turn on color pigments.

The Pro edition is enhanced by Pigment color mixing, NanoPixel technology, Color Management and Photoshop plug-in. You can find out the detailed comparison of both editions here: www.escapemotions.com/products/rebelle/about

If I understand correctly, on a normal monitor you don't see any difference after the image is exported, you only see it in the program. Do you need a special monitor that supports nanopixel technology so that you can see the nanopixels after the export? How about the print? Do you need a special printer to see a difference? Thanks in advance for the answer.
