- This DELICIOUS Pull Apart Challah Bread Appetizer is baked around a creamy and cheesy Spinach Artichoke Dip. It is a party show stopper! It is worth the extra effort to make the Challah for the dip- from scratch - your taste buds and your friends will thank you! The best part? You can assemble most of this in advance and pop it into the oven when you guests arrive for the big game, an Academy Awards watch party or any cocktail party! Feel free to use ANY baked dip that you love with this recipe.
Ingredients - Pull Apart Challah with Spinach Artichoke Dip.
Challah
To activate the Yeast:
14 g (1 1/2 tbsp) Yeast
2 g (1/2 tsp) Sugar
290 g (1 1/4) cups lukewarm Water
After activating yeast:
620 g (5 cups) Bread Flour
130 g (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp) Sugar
9 g (1 1/2 tsp) Salt
50 g (1/4) Neutral Oil
2 eggs
Dip
2 14 ounce cans Artichoke Hearts
5 oz frozen Spinach - Drained
2/3 cup mayo
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 clove minced Garlic
1 tsp Sherry
