Bro what do I even know English anymore I didn’t understand anything💀😭
If you think that’s confusing checkout the way England structures its football leagues. Absolutely ridiculous. 😂
@@MatthewOlwell England has one of the most simple formats actually
You qualify as the best RUclipsr in the world
Dude, every question I have for soccer (football) you always have a video and explain it so well. Thank you for helping all of us learn!
Haha thanks for watching! Let me know if you ever have any other video ideas/leagues you want explained
Intercontinental playoffs are niw just 1 game. Winner goes on to the WC
And Europ gets 13 participants and it is going up every year.. it s not a world cup it s European Cup
Europe have the best teams
@bigdawg1448 doesnt mean anything, if all the best nations were in europe are they gonna give 32 spots to europe and call it the "world cup"?
@@naes8258from the next edition there will be 48 teams
So overall I think it's ok to give Europe 13 slots
32 teams and 13 are europeeans barely 35% not even half calling it european cup is crazy
Great video! I have one question tho. How will it work for 2026 with 48 spots?
Good question! I'm not sure yet, but I'll definitely have a new video for 2026 haha. I imagine all 6 confederations will roughly have 150% more qualifying bids though just based off simple math
Especially Oceania
Some cups would not have ANY oceania
good
So uhm…. Do the USA Canada and Mexico all get in for 2026???
Waiting for official word from FIFA, but yes, they likely will all automatically qualify
FIFA is so Eurocentric is disgusting. Africa and Asian have more countries, therefore more teams, and not even half of what Europe get.
Yea but Europe is also the strongest continent when it comes to football, so 🤷
@@illnamethechannellater653 No is not, it is South America. Europe only has more teams and because it is an Eurocentric organisation they get more funding.
@@miguelmolano6611 south America has 12 countries in total, + france, and only 10 in conmebol, it's not eurocentric Europe is just much richer in talent
@Miguel Molano bro Europe has more countries and is generally stronger south America is basically Uruguay Argentina and Brazil Europe have more countries that won it and what fifa really wants more fans with the means and are willing to pay to go see their countries play
South America has 4 guaranteed slots out of 10 members -> 40%. Europe has 13 slots out of 55 members -> 23.6%.
I don’t think the slot allocation is biased in favor of Europe.
Great content.. I'm guessing Europe gets 13 teams because of their overall FIFA world ranking
How would it work in 2026 with 3 host countries
Those 3 countries would qualify automatically
And Remember there are gonna be a lot more teams in the World Cup next year. More teams will qualify in cocacaf
does the 2026 cup, have more teams?
Yep, it'll have 48
@@snowmansportsmediado think that’s good or bad?
@@BlackDrippy Eh probably both. Expansion is inevitable in every sport
What about the reigning champions? Don't/didn't they automatically qualify along with the host nation(s)?
No the reigning champ doesn't automatically qualify
@@snowmansportsmedia Actually, they did automatically qualify up until 2002; automatic qualification for the reigning champions was scrapped from 2006 onwards.
The reason why I asked was because I thought I was having a Mandela Effect, and also decided to check myself. Thanks anyway.👍
this was so helpful
Dude why are there decimals at the end
What does it mean when he said once on the road
Road meaning not at their home stadium. As in, they play one of the two games at home, and the other on the road, away at the other team's stadium
How will 2026 ConCacaf Qualifying Work, do we know yet?
Not yet!
@@snowmansportsmedia They released the South American qualifiers
Ranking whats the hardest and easiest to qualfy number 1 South America is easily hardest number 2 africa number 3 europa number 4 asia number 5 North America
Personally I think UEFA is the hardest because one defeat could knock you out, but I agree with the rest!
@@snowmansportsmedia it’s depens on the seeding tho
@@snowmansportsmedia clearly not because we have to see the numbers 5 africain countries qualify in 54 while uefa in 53 13 qualify so more than two times more with less teams so africa is easily the hardest one
