Now that Morocco has broken the mold of no African team passing beyond the quarter finals, I'm rooting for them to go all the way to the finals and beat Croatia to win it 🏆

That would be amazing. But France might be their toughest test yet.
@MarvelMadness2003 Morocco is an African country lmao it is literally located in North Africa. Even the coach of the Moroccan team said they were doing it for africa
its crazy how something that went against the olympics made it bigger than the actual olympics themselves.. people care more about the world cup than the olympics lol.. i love this history
Women's football is not more popular than Men's football in the USA. they just won it more times. and the evident is that Men's national football team of USA generates much more money than the Women's
@@Createdplayer11Yet we recently tied with Venezuela by the score of 1-1, lost to Colombia by letting them have a comeback, lost to Argentina in the MARACANÃ, and probably will lose to Uruguai soon, all that in the South America qualifiers for 2026
@ yes I’m sure. You just did the final in which usa was playing vs a World Cup that didn’t even have the usa in it. Now do the entire tournament. I’ll wait

@@mattfabz I haven't seen the numbers for the whole world cup. If you find them, let me know. But we do have for individual games and they have consistently been higher than the men's, which is the basis for the claim: For example, in 2015: worldsoccertalk.com/news/usa-japan-womens-world-cup-final-most-watched-game-in-us-history-20150706-CMS-143807.html In 2011: espnpressroom.com/us/press-releases/2011/07/2011-womens-world-cup-finals-espns-most-viewed-and-highest-rated-soccer-match/ In 1999: www.nytimes.com/2014/06/24/business/media/bigger-than-baseball-us-portugal-world-cup-match-outdoes-world-series-in-ratings.html (this story talks about how the 1999 women's record was broken, which up to that point was the highest rated game ever).
@ you are yet again comparing a finals match to a group stage match…? You think this helps you?

@@mattfabz the first post compared the men's final in 2018 to the women's final in 2019. It far surpassed it. The second showed that the 2015 women's final was the most watched soccer game ever at any level up to that point. The third, the same for ESPN and the fourth that the 1999 final was the most watched soccer game ever until 2014. so again, they're not comparing those games to group stage matches. They're comparing them to ALL of the matches.

“My moneys on Brazil for this one”
Croatia 🇭🇷: “ we will see about that”
😂😂😂
I cursed Brazil with that prediction.
@ you didn’t do anything brother. This World Cup itself has been absolutely crazy.
It was cool to see soccer’s biggest star in his last World Cup performance lift the trophy after falling short in times passed.
In some ways it was better. He could appreciate it more since he knows what it was like to lose.
costa rica in 2014* not 2010 but amazing video 12:07
You’re right. I can’t believe I missed that.
What's the name of the song at 7:12 to 7:59 ?
Great video!!
10:51 Finally done it
Nz is the only undefeated team at a fifa World Cup
How do you figure? In 1982, they lost all their games and had a goal difference of -10.
@ yea I wasn’t born but to go technically undefeated for nz is kinda crazy. But I do agree we got absolutely rolled our first cup.
Suppose it could be classed a small comeback of some sorts lol

Bro Brazil always taking Ls
they overplayed their hand against Croatia
*has more world cups than any team*

The womens World Cup is not more popular in American than the World Cup…

Yeah, sorry. FIFA kept taking it down.
