Thankyou for making this video and being honest and open, I've just started Zoloft too and I'm 2 weeks in so far. I've been on medication since 2015 for anxiety and have previously been on citalopram and fluoxetine. But I stopped those because they either had bad side effects or they just stopped working. I've had CBT as well on and off over the years.
    Keep up the good work!

First off I’m SO happy to hear you are doing well. Secondly your bob cut is adorable💁🏻‍♀️.
I have been battling chronic health/mental health issues come 2 years this June. That being said to be reminded that you have to have patience and continue fighting was super encouraging ( Patience is SO hard in regards to your health). Especially because your content is so genuine and honest. You tell your story truthfully.....the ugly, the struggle, and the victories. Each part is so important and takes balls to share with others. I appreciate you being so raw and sharing. I also appreciate the shout out it made my day and I’m happy you will be doing more videos.
My question regarding this video is did you have any side effects with the new mood stabilizer? Also do you still experience side effects with Zoloft? I have not taken any meds and honestly are terrified of them. I am currently in the process of getting into therapy but having trouble with my anxiety about it. To hear you confirm you may have to see a few before you find the one was encouraging and the fact that it actually helped you.
Happy to hear you’re doing better and looking forward to more content.

Thank you!! I’m so happy to hear that I’m helping you in some way, makes my heart so full 💗
The only side effect that remained from the Zoloft was difficulty urinating. It’s been a side effect I’ve had since day one and it never went away unfortunately but I’ve gotten very used to it. I can’t even remember a time when peeing was easy anymore lol
I don’t remember having any side effects from the new mood stabilizer honestly. It felt like a perfect fit. It apparently doesn’t make you tired they way risperidone would.
I do however get a lot of scent triggered migraines now. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with my medication but it isn’t something I used to struggle with.
I think I’m going to be talking about therapy in my next video so maybe that will make you feel a little less anxious about it!
Thank you so much for your support, it means so much to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

moonchild I’m sorry to hear about the urinating side effect. I’m glad this mood stabilizer turned out to be a great fit, that’s so great hear. I can relate to migraines, I’ve been in Physical therapy to help with mine. I have no curve in my neck and suffered whiplash/concussion from a car accident last October. That mixed with my bad posture migraines entered my life. They got so bad I thought I was having a stroke, scary times. PT has unbelievably helped with them though. I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with migraines, they are no joke.
I’m looking forward to your videos discussing therapy. I hope they help too. I think I fear the judgement and the possibility of lack of compassion. Thank you for your kindness and openness. I do video diaries and have thought about starting a RUclips channel but I don’t have the balls yet and maybe never. I give you all the props it’s not easy putting yourself out there and I think it’s powerful.

I’m so happy you’re doing well! I’m on 100mg of Zoloft and I always have crazy vivid dreams. Was this a side effect you had or know anyone else having?? It’s so annoying!

Are brain fog, tension headaches, and fatigue common issues you have? I have been feeling those symptoms and many more for an year now. I recently got off Zoloft. Before cutting it off, I was at 100 mg.

    • @TooxBadxSon
      @TooxBadxSon  5 лет назад +1

Alex Urias not so much brain fog but I do often get headaches and I’m always exhausted. Proper dieting, regular sleep, and the occasional natural energy drink does the trick though

@@TooxBadxSon It's good to see you back on RUclips! Really helps knowing there's people going through the same.
The brain fog is not as severe as it used to be for me. But I can still notice it. It's mostly being exhausted and irritable. And those headaches, which are annoying haha.

Zoloft was the most commonly prescribed antidepressant in the USA in 2018 with over 38 million prescriptions.
