Your review is the best I have seen on the 129E. What I would have liked to have seen is the unit turning on the ABS pump during a brake flush and bleeding. Also, I would have liked to have seen the STFT and LTFT graphs if the unit can produce those.
No bi-directional controls with this scanner

I've been told by a dealer when you purchase from Amazon a lot of The Times it does not support the North American market, can you confirm?
Of course it supports North America, this scantool is a little dated now. Look into this instead

I have an intermittent "Service Airbag System" on my jeep and was looking for a scanner that would read the SRS in detail. I believe that this will do the job, thank you for the demo.

@@RANDOMFIX I was able to fix my issue which was really a lose wiring harness under the driver seat. I used the CRP129E to diagnose and clear the error but unfortunately the device reset itself may have done so when the battery drained. The display was stuck portrait mode and the software no longer worked. I tried a reset per their support page which did not help, I didn't get the extended warranty and eventually tossed it.
Where do you buy it from?
@@RANDOMFIX Amazon, I reached out to the manufacturer and they said that no warranty no dice.
I would call Amazon on the phone and tell the product was listed on their website with lifetime updates and ask for a full refund. This happens to me all the time and I ALWAYS get my money back as it’s advertised on Amazon. Don’t mention anything about the being stuck in any certain orientation but focus on the lifetime update not being supported. Don’t take no for answer as you have a legitimate reason and it’s false advertising when they allow a vendor yo post this on their website. Amazon need to help accountable for the claims even if made by vendors. You paid amazon the money.

good questions I don't recall, I test a lot of scan tools to make sure the work but specific are sometimes a little fuzzy. I don't want to guess but most scantools ( no obd2 readers) do.
i dont see transmission temp which i need for toyota oil change. is there something else i have to look for?
Great questions, every make and model support different readings and the Toyota transmission temp is pita. There is a special tool that plugs into the obd2 port and will flash once you reach temperature for the atf. Just a easy dyi that I've done on Toyota for transmission is to plug the allen key out and remove about 3 quartz when the vehicle atf and new stf are the same exact temperature as the fluid expands. Once you leave the vehicle and the new atf overnight to settle at the same temperature I will only add the exact amount I removed. as I said this is a real p.i.t.a. however it works. I hope my directions were clear and helped. I've done this dozens of time and never had a problem . Best of luck. _Randomfix

Can this reset the inspection service light
Most service reminders can reselt via dashboard except cars like Porsche. This tool is limited on the function, I think you will have better luck with this ruclips.net/video/BdiN4xoj-3Y/видео.html or just Google how reset for you vehicle and I think you maybe able to find what are looking for without have spend a dollar. Let me know what happens

I gave this away to a friend but have heard no complaints if you want something a little better with no internal battery try the fx2000
This scanner has a carmaker named GMSA which models of cars?
1996 and newer vehicles at least here and the united states. All makes except exotics. _Randomfix

It can retrieve pending and set codes.

At 6:11, you will notice that the MAC Address changes every time you turn the unit on. That should remain fixed so that you can insert the MAC Address into the MAC filters in your router.

Yes, it will clear the airbag light. No scanner can however reset a code if the issue is permanent malfunction.

I m professional care mechanic! The software is very bad. Almost every second car diagnostic not work properly. I would not recommend to anyone. I worked with launch 10 years, but this product is total fiasco!

Does it allow you to reset the Transmission Oil Life (not engine oil but transmission oil) ?
I would email the vendor as every make is different. Send them your vin and number as for a list of supported features. You are looking to reset a service light?
