Same song and dance with Woodson and this team! IU is one of the most talented teams as far as raw talent, but they continuously get out coached, out hustled, out smarted and out played by teams that may not be as talented, but are better coached, smarter, more fundamentally sound, more disciplined, more tougher, have more intelligence, heart and hustle, as well as better team chemistry and movement! IU lacks discipline, accountably, intelligence, fundamentals, chemistry and they continuously make the same dumb mistakes over and over and over again! If you have seen one game, you have seen them all! Woodson always has excuses! Instead of looking in the mirror, admitting the issues and then fixing them! He is always in spin mode and that is why nothing ever changes!!
Man if we could play all the time like we did in the last minute and a half of this... #HoosierNation
Last year Robbie Hummel astutely noted that: "IU's defense is in a constant state of rotation" ...
And now here we are one year later with a new core of players having the same problem ...
After 20 games, it's now easy to nail Woodson as being ineffective at getting his team to play "team defense" ...
This is a relatively slow-footed bunch who close-out so poorly on 3s that their opponents actually plan on it ...
This will be remembered as Woodson's downfall ...
Terribly inarticulate as to team’s deficiencies and what specifically led to result. Doesn’t ever elaborate schematically where the breakdowns occurred. Wowzer!
Mike doesn’t seem to understand urgency. Plenty of games left.. it’s not like an NBA season. I am dumbfounded he is continually being paid to not meet his own expectations he set himself when he took over.
