Great to see another video popping up Tom, it's always a pleasure to get a notification from HBS!
I really enjoyed the humorous narrative at the start, and what a stroke of luck finding sandwiches of your preferred filling 🙂
M&S chocolate... "we're not savages afterall, are we" 👏🤣🤣
Beautiful time lapse from 16:24 🌄🌫️
Thanks for another great video Tom 🚲⛺👍

Thanks Tony! - I thought I'd try a little humour... plainly not everyone finds me funny... infact the words infuriating and imbecile are more often used that funny but hey ho!!! - Anyway thanks again for your kind words - ATB Tom

Oh, I'm sure that you're joking about those descriptive words being used!
You have your own inimitable style of presentation, no need to change it 👌
      Thanks again Tom 👍

What a great local adventure! Ticking another Corbett off the list is always an achievement. Your bikepacking journey in Galloway Forest Park looks amazing, especially with the beautiful scenery and the Dark Sky Park. Looking forward to see more of your wild camping and fatpacking experiences. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind words!! I've many more Corbetts to do and know there is zero chance in me getting them all as most are totally non cyclable but I'll take it where I can get them! Thanks again - ATB Tom

We now have established a drinking game and have a shot every time you say "anyway" 😝😝
Cannot wait to see your next tour!
All the best so far, and regards to the Mrs!

Thoroughly enjoyed this one, loved the shot at 22:28, the colours, the light and your riding/cutting through the middle with the score, superb little bit of amateur filming. Brilliant actually.
I wonder... perhaps the big camera is becoming overkill for this kind of work/content? I wonder if something like the DJI Pocket 3 could replace and release you from some weight burden. Or take the story telling to the next level and replace the big camera with a drone. Might be similar space/weight but your locations seem to really scream out for it! (and you might not have to constantly bike back to pick it up, set it to follow you, done! 😆) But I dunno much about drones...
Enjoying the banter too, looking forward to the next one 🙂

Cheers Eddy!!.. yeah I've been wanting a drone for a few years, there's definitely some good shots out there for that format. I've nearly pulled the trigger several times but I'm so tight it's quite unbelievable actually. I think the fear of popping £700 in a loch is real.. then I think we'll I could upgrade my main camera.. or get a replacement for the osmo action 1.. I get paralysed so close the browser and buy nothing instead lol. It will happen one day I'm sure 😃

Many thanks Glenda.. I'll do some more sensible rides in the near future I promise!! I've been enjoying your recent videos as well especially the aircraft wreckage.. very interesting and poignant.. having served in her majesties finest some years ago I do take an extra interest in such things... Thanks again

I prefer the non sensible. Sensible is boring. I haven’t been doing any bikepacking of late. Dodgy wrists so I pay for long days in the bike. I’ve had an interest in lost aircrew for many years. I think it’s a nice thing to take the time to visit them and pay my respects. What did you serve in?

I have a love hate with Dumfries and Galloway, stunning in nice weather but foreboding when it’s crap just like soggy Ayrshire.
It was nice to see something other than gravel tracks for a wee change I could be enticed down for something like that.

    • @hikebikescotland9121
      @hikebikescotland9121  2 месяца назад +1

haha lets be honest theres little fun to be had in the soggy stuff regardless!! - Although Galloway holds onto its moisture longer than most regions I'll warrant!! - love a gravel track but hate to be limited by them as well... hence the fat bike when the temptation to just go cross country is too much to resist!!! (handy in the snow as well!!) - ATB Tom
