    I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Strayer

The two lane Kennedy Road is now reduced to one, giving up one lane to buses that run every 10 minutes. Olivia Chow is preoccupied with Ontario Place and tax increases at a time when homeless people are taking over the city.

    I am a Toronto Downtown delivery driver. I can confirm what you are saying about the insane traffic every day because of all these stupid bike lanes reducing streets that had 2 lanes to one lane. What I don't get is why they have streets that run parallel to each other and both have bike lanes and they are just blocks apart sometimes. Also look at the disaster they did to Palmerston blvd when they put in bike lanes. From bloor to college (recent work), it now runs in 5 different directions (one ways in opposite directions). 5 blocks, 5 different directions! Only one of those blocks is a 2-way street. Before, the whole 5 blocks was a 2-way street. And the funny thing is that most cyclists don't even use it. They prefer streets like shaw (just a few blocks over) that runs further north and south with bike lanes (that was already there before this govn came into power).

      If they didn’t put in bike lanes you would complain about bumper to bumper traffic and not moving at all. The core is growing its population fast and you can’t expand the roads so you need a better way to move more people. At some point if it keeps growing at this pace they’ll need to start charging a congestion charge to encourage more drivers to seek alternative ways of travel.

Thanks to speculators who call themselves”investors” all properties prices are ballooned and at least 30% above the real prices. Noone should be able to speculate on essential need for every Canadian family. If anyone who owned more than two properties must be taxed more. Speculators, private or corporate must be pushed to sell units in which they didn’t live. It is an emergency situation now. High housing prices benefit few and suck money from the real economy

I rent a small, but beautiful apartment which is a 10 minute walk to both a tropical beach and a modern supermarket. Everything including , rent, cable, internet, water, electricity and even health insurance, comes to approx. $620 CDN a month. Add another $620 a month for food, and you can live a pretty good life outside of Canada for $1,250 per month.

    • @zylkyg
      @zylkyg 13 часов назад

      The worth part is when you have lots of bikers on streets with no bike lanes, totally unsafe and blocking traffic. Downtown Toronto is not designed for cycling and doesn't have the safe space for it.

    Jesus! This country is a disaster, the Economy is a disaster, Crime & Punishment disaster, Immigration disaster, Housing disaster etc.
    I wouldn't be Prime Minister unless I had Dictatorial power, it's the only way to get the Country back on track and moving in the right direction.
    Common Sense seems to have packed up and left Earth. Idiotic policy after policy at all levels of Government across this country.
    My faith in Democracy is almost exhausted, it just doesn't work in real life, not to mention the Inherent corruption. If I took over the Federal Govt. tomorrow my first act would be to Investigate corruption in the Trudeau Govt. The guilty would be charged, tried in a court of Law and if found Guilty, the punishment would be swift and brutal.

    If you wish to understand this, sir, I recommend reading about the decline of the Soviet Union. It will make perfect sense. we let them in in the late 70s and 80s 90s it’s a revolving door of Soviet communism, which leads to incompetent management and decline

    Affordable housing means 30% of minimum wage salaries you do the math and wake me up when you find a basement apartment for that price 😂

    What do you suggest we do ? We are stuck with this mayor for another 3 years and this PM for another 18 mths at least without a guarantee either one of them will be voted out by then. I'm struggling to see how we, the taxpayers, are going to get some relief ( on all points you are raising) but keep coming back to the same conclusion: -> Only with electtions that are still in the far-flung future. Until then these fiancially illiterate fools will bury us all deeper in a financial hole. Hey, at least we have "equity" to cherish.

    Rents will not come down because Canada keeps bringing in more immigrants than the country's infrastructure can handle. If you own property, you love it. Making $$. If you are broke, then you are toast. And jusy wait until AI starts eating away at jobs. First, you will see a hiring freeze. Second, retiring boomers will not be replaced. Third, reluctance to start new businesses. Fourth, AI used to streamline workplace. By summer 2025, expect unemployment approaching 9%.
