I was born and raised in Toronto to Italian immigrant parents. I made the move to Italy 10 years ago and never looked back. I recently visited Toronto and noticed a real decline. When you travel the world, you realize how lame Toronto is. It definitely doesn't deserve the high cost of living. Most people would rather live elsewhere.

A lot of people forget that the government is hiding the real cost of inflation because if they were to tell the public the real figures they would need to increase pension payments, EI payments and all other fixed social assistance payments.

Bike lanes should be illegal in a country that has winter for 5 months when it is unsafe to bike. Most of people do not bike. Canadian cities are too spread out for biking to make any sense. Used to live to Toronto. Loved it. However, glad to see it's falling apart. The radical left is the most destructive force this country has ever seen, and we have to pay the price for it. I drive downtown daily and bike lanes are virtually empty for the majority of the day…and literally empty during the winter months. Bike lanes are a huge waste of money and thanks to bike lanes, vehicle emissions are at record highs. Things will only get worse with this socialist mayor.
