Lori is so beautiful. She used to never get in front of the camera. I think it’s because she was shy because it’s certainly not because she isn’t gorgeous. And she’s so vivacious and so talented and such a hard worker. I admire you so much Lori and I wish nothing but the best for you and I keep you in my prayers that you I live a very long full life because you influence so many others in such a positive way. My mom made me a set of design boards for christmas last year and I've never not used them life saver notion and she actually made it using lori holt's tutorial ❤️ 😊
I had a flash back to when I was going to graduate school at the University of Utah many years ago. I was working at the children’s hospital and going to school and was in need of some fun. I was a beginning quilter and a crafter. I went to a shop that was not close to where I lived near the University. They had classes in quilting and I especially remember learning to make pierced lampshades. When Lori said Gentler Times it was like a light bulb went off! The shop started in a small space upstairs in a commercial building and then moved into an old house south east of downtown Salt Lake City. The quilting class I remember taking was a beginner hand appliqué class with tulips. That was such a great shop!😊
Is Lori designing anything soon that will utilize her triangle ruler? I’ve made two pine tree quilts but what else can the ruler be used for. It was pretty pricey would like to continue using it.

Try using acorn easy press fabric treatment on seams. Excellent for keeping seams flat and reduces stretching and fraying

I thought Lori starches her fabric which shrink the fabric. So why is she worried about wetting her blocks?
@@m0ther0ne she does starch BEFORE cutting her pieces. Don’t want to shrink your sewn block size! 😳💕
