Thick as thieves, wow more goosebumps I can’t put an actual message to this song there is so many hidden meanings in most of Shinedown’s songs. Thick as thieves to me means there is a bind of communication that is hard to be broken like a chemistry nitrogen bond. And the bond is between human and human as well human and Mother Nature. As well as a higher power!

Yknow how sometimes a part of a song will hit your ears in such a pleasing way you want to put that specific part on repeat? The chorus of this song does that to me. I love the whole song, but the chorus just feels really good to my ears in a different way. If that makes sense.

Do wish they’d incorporate more of their original sound. Do like progression and personal growth though...people need to change so I guess then why wouldn’t we expect their music to reflect that? Hasn’t lost soulfulness so not disappointed.

Reminds me of my close friend. We can identify ourselves with this song so much. We have arguments very often, sometimes we just don't speak for months, but in the end we realize we really need each other and we can't give up. Mainly, because we've been through many struggles together. So this one's for you, if you're reading this, my friend.

Everyday is a new day, but for me, my problems catch up to me now matter how fast I run, there's no way around it, I can't run forever, everyday I get slowed down by the newer problems, living in hell as synchronous pain in my heart. Stumbling to find a way out, no matter how hard I try, shinedown is a constant reminder that I can get through it, but it doesn't feal like that. Luckily I still have friends that allow me to forget about my problems, one could say, were thick as thieves
I bought this album before I listen to all of the songs and after listening to some of these I'm not disappointed at all

I always thought this was the worst song but when my dad told in his history & stuff back in the day and then I realized the meaning of this song then finally I got inspired & sometimes this makes me think of the survival in war and people with a hard life & the homeless and when my dad was homeless but he has a house now & now this song just is awesome to me after how much it has inspired me

I really don´t understand why some people hate this album... Every band changes a bit from time to time, but hey, it is still Shinedown and it is such a good album. Got to see them at Rock im Park 2 days ago. Awesome show, awesome music. What else could you ask for?
Kinda weird how this song might as well be Brent himself reaching out for the "old fan" who just hates this album cause it is different. Listen to that song with this thought in mind, it's kinda surprising.
