I never gave this song a chance because the beginning wasn't catchy to me, well I listened to the whole song like a week ago and have played it at least 5 times a day since then lol, song is so good!

I think it's great that Shinedown has started making audio videos. It just stays at a constant picture, and it's actually quite convenient for me, because I'm 13, and I go to school, watch music videos of other rock artists, and sometimes people peek at my phone and think I'm listening to rap. I hate rap. So this is a good way to let people know I'm not listening to that awful music.
So what if they peek at your phone? If they see you watching something and ask what you're watching/listening to either don't respond or say "I'm listening to _______ by _______" No one is going to condemn you for listening to rock. The fact that you're afraid of what people will think shows that you're just as worried about what people will think of you listening to rock as you are of being accused of being a fan of rap music. There's different genres out there for everyone and just because you don't like a certain type of music doesn't mean it's "awful".

People shouldn't care about what people think (to a point) but we do anyways, its one of those things that aren't going to change.

I know the bass player is totally into the music and I can tell this by the way he's dancing and how good his face playing sounds but every time I see him bounce off you guys don't show enough of him dancing to really get a sense of what's going on with him so he always looks like Calvin and Hobbes when they were dancing to the record player turned up to 78rpm.
Eric Bass produced this beauty. That's why it is my favorite album. He is a gift. I hope he heals up and gets back to it with our boys. 🤘❤️

Don't generalize rap either... While most of what you'll find on the radio is pure garbage that only deals with money, sex, women, cars and drugs there is some great thought-provoking music that comes out of rap as well. People tend to forget that rock also exemplifies those things on a regular basis too, just maybe not as lavishly.
Major Shinedown fan especially since "Cut The Cord" released...but I wish these "Official Audio" videos on RUclips would be a video of the lyrics, courtesy of Shindown (instead of just the album cover art). :D Thanks boys. Cheers, Chris.

I very strongly agree. I went to Carnival of Madness this summer and their voices sounded so much better with their old music. They only played about 3 songs from this album.
