ULTRAKILL is a fast-paced ultraviolent old school FPS that fuses together classic shooters like Quake, modern shooters like Doom (2016) and character action games like Devil May Cry.
Mankind has gone extinct and the only beings left on earth are machines fuelled by blood, but now that blood is starting to run out on the surface, machines are racing to the depths of Hell in search of more. Игры

These pretentious Early DOOM Eternal players, playing an unfinished version of DOOM Eternal, aren't going to feel very special, smug, or superior, when everyone else is playing the finished version of DOOM Eternal, when March 20th comes... I'm just like dude, we get it, you've played DOOM Eternal early... They honestly remind me of the r/ihavesex Redditors, bragging about something literally anyone can get with enough money, and the right tools at your disposal... Plus, this game is more like the Devil May Cry of FPS, especially considering the combat score system: chaotic, brutal, etc.
So basically someone bred Doom with Devil May Cry and created this.
I'm cool with this.

And Warframe
You know that someone is going to make FPS/visual novel hybrid that's actually good and it's going to be all your fault. LOL
The game he showed isn't even a visual novel though.
But a Visual FPS Novel just sounds like an FPS that lets you choose your route for alternative ends, and has a decent amount of talking. Far Cry 4 almost answers that criteria.

Exactly what I was thinking. Looks like Strafe, but got right what Strafe got wrong.
@gordonfrohman34 Strafe my dude! its a game!
@gordonfrohman34 No. Strife is a first person RPG running on the old Doom engine. Strafe is a retro FPS running on the Unity engine with procedurally generated stages, which ended up being very shallow.

THIS IS WHAT SHOUD IT BE LIKE!!
I hope not. Not another game with subpar Roguelite elements. The shooting could be chaotic fun in STRAFE, but the procedural generation and the RNG-weapon upgrades for example was more detrimental to my enjoyment than beneficial.
