- Just having fun flying and also submitting it for the 6th event of Tyrantt's Pro Whooper an fpv drone freestyle competition styled after Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games.

Yea thats pretty rad, i just toss mine on a desk like its junk. This makes me want to 3d print something cool for storage but i probably wont, too busy flying whoops and being lazy i guess.
@@properorientation this one is just screw in eye hooks in an old board. Super easy and cheap. I still have a cabinet and tabletop the ones I fly more frequently get tossed

Bad ass setup and flying! Which one do you tend to use the most?
The one I grabbed in this has been my go to for years. HD from 1s is great. I use 65mm pro (35mm props) builds for freestyle and reg 65mm for racing. Then the 2s and up builds are usually for gigs

My mobula 6 HD looks like a rock falling from the sky compared to your whoop. Looks like a 75 frame right? And what kv motors are you running?
Yah stick it in a 75mm frame and it'll feel way better. Motors I swapped to 25000kv after the stock 19000 ones broke

Incredible flying. I have the flywoo 1s, looks like this one. What rates are you using? When I do flips and rolls It seems like it needs a ton of throttle to keep it up in the air.
my rates are 880degrees per second but i’ll adjust yaw to be faster or slower depending camera angle
it probably does need a lot of throttle i don’t think about it anymore though so i don’t know 🤷 haha. Pitching back can also help give you lift when you’re out of throttle power so pulling out of a powerloop at the right time is just as important as throttle

What kind of whoop are you running? Is that running HD zero ?
No it's a runcam split 3 lite. So analog video to.goggles but it records HD on the drone

You have build video for these. I have the HDO 2.1 analog and I love the video but never seen how it would be in walksnail version with the walksnail avatar VRX. I only used the avatar DJI and that’s what spiked my curiosity with my mob 6
@@LoCoRipperFPV almost the sd card recording HD is on the drone, so along only to goggles. Split cams used to be the only way to get HD and honestly they are hard to come by these days. Always out of stock.

There are splitcams from runcam, foxeer, caddx and all habe pros and cons but the biggest con is latency. It's higher than all the digital models.
What goggles are you using
DJI V2 with a wildfire analog module. Best analog experience I've found so far.

You'll have to make it since there are no longer bind and flys with the parts.
75mm frame, 25000kv 0802 motors, a 5in1 1s flight controller and the runcam split 3 lite
You could maybe find old stock of the mob6 HD and then put it in a 75mm frame and faster motors or the newer mob6 HD and work to remove weight

Hi, im looking to build more drones and have a question. Is there a particular aio or esc thats easy to learn on and easy connections. Im on hdzero and whenever i solder cameras and vtxs, its always a royal pain. Is setting up analog much easier?. I heard hdzero is coming out with a new AIO thats gonna be only +1 gram heavier than analog so might get into that. Curious if you have any build videos or how to properly build whoops and 75mm
@@BreeZieDoesiT For analog yes it can be easier some of the all in one flight controllers have connectors for motors, and camera so you can simply assemble. I personally like to solder everything and don’t mind the tiny soldering but I know i’m the exception.
If you want to really get into building you have to get good at soldering there’s no way around it.
Did i post my build timelapse? i can’t remember haha. that’s all i’ve done so far but I do plan to do some building vids.
@@Shauny_D yea ive practiced alot and have built a good bit of drones!. I dont mind the soldering either but where I get confused is the literature and what goes where for each specific build and esc. Is it always so clear for you? Or do you mostly the same components, so you learn it over time by nature
@@BreeZieDoesiT oh yah the documentation and instructions are always a mess. We get really terrible quality control and most manuals or wording diagrams are translated poorly. You get used to it over time. It’s always similar. Power from FC, video wire, and tx and rx. One tiny tip to help sanity check yourself is that ground pads should always take longer and more heat to solder.
@@Shauny_D got ya thanks!. I got into fpv with the release of the new mobula6 and its been really fun. Only issue is the mobula is a bunch of soldering. Wouldnt mind a cam that just plugs in. I recently did a build with an x12 AIO and m hdzero vtx and it was just a pain. The x12 is built in analog vtx and I just didnt know where the hdzero wiring was supposed to go. There was a ufl antenna port on it, along with my vtx and didnt know what antennas to use and it was just a mess. The super X FC that comes for hdzero has this little cooper antenna but the x12 didn't have one so didnt know which antennas were for what. Do you buy that little copper wire for antennas? And how are you supposed to know where to solder them?. Thanks for all your responses and feedback
@@BreeZieDoesiT the little wire is just that a wire cut to the 1/4 the wavelength frequency of video or reciever signal. 15mm or 31mm usually. And it is soldered to the antenna or tip part if the antenna pad. For ufl and other antennas they have their anntena tip connected to the same place but the other pads are connected to ground and the shielding on the antenna cable.
I can never remember the connector names so I'm always looking at the photos before buying. I'll only but the little omni whip antennas or others with a connector. For the wire ones I have a tiny spool of silicone coated copper wire and I can cut it to length.

i have hundreds and hundreds of hours and ive never beaten the game...never even gotten close....alot of times i quit after a hundred days or so because i get bored and start a new one...idk what to do about it, i want to beat it once before anomaly, not gonna happen tho...edit, 1,100 hrs

It looks like a lot but my newest FC is a couple years old. The big secret is to conformal coat them and they last a long time.

@@Arcticfawksie the v1 and v2 goggles can use an analog input. So you can get a module board that screws on the side and takes analog modules. I use wildfire or Achilles modules

@@Arcticfawksie if you meant the drone, it is just a analog HD split cam. So analog to the goggles and onboard HD DVR. Runcam split is what that was is
@@Arcticfawksie yah it's analog to the goggles but you get HD DVR on board the drone. Cheap and effective way to get good HD. The split Cam is only 9 grams too so WAY less than DJI

@@Shauny_D i am fairly new to this fpv thing. I am in the philippines we don't have much access to tiny whoops to purchase. I want to know like are you using tx16s for all of your drones? did you build your tiny drones? what googles shows the clearest view? what transmitter system do you use?
@@vincentsquest9375 Tx16s yes with a mix of redpine, elrs, flysky, dsm all the protocols.
I usually but a bind and fly and use it until something breaks then start swapping parts, motors, cam, frame etc. I like the DJI v2 goggles with an analog module the best because they have great dvr and huge field of view.
