    Hi Peter, Debbie here from Tylers Travels, i hope you are well. We were going to this this show but Swift had said to my husband that the Swift Carrera 144 won't be there ( we bought one last year at the NEC show), and we would love to see it again, so decided not to go. We love watching your videos they are entertaining and informative, kee p up the excellent work and thanks for this video showing us what we have missed, take care x x

      Thank you. It's lovely to get messages like that - makes it all worthwhile.
      There didn't seem to be much Swift presence at the show, except for the Monza campervan

    I like the last one - all electric. But if you gave me any of them, I'd say thank you very much. As if.

    Thanks Peter, we're going on Saturday and have already got our appointment at the RP stand booked!
    The Mercedes Autosleeper looks interesting which isn't something I thought I would ever say 😁

      Enjoy the show. The M-Star is probably the best new Auto-Sleeper in quite a while

    Thanks Peter, not going to this one like so many others it appears. Prices are now officially ridiculous. Cheers K.

      Yes, but what hasn't shot up in price in the last year? And residual values are super strong

    Why does ever manufacturer think Brit's want an oven in a campervan?

    • @MotorhomeCampervan
      @MotorhomeCampervan  Год назад +1

      It still seems that a lot of customers do want one. Some want a microwave as well!! But there are plenty of continental options without an oven or go to someone like Murvi and spec the kitchen how you want it

      @ghunt9146 Год назад

      No need for an oven, just get a Remoska, we even use it at home instead of the oven!

    Hi Peter. What happened to your Wildax review. It's vanished completely from your playlist.

    The Auto Sleeper Mercedes is too long for a PVC.

    • @MotorhomeCampervan
      @MotorhomeCampervan  Год назад

      Too long for some buyers for sure, but there are plenty of other converters using 7m Sprinters, Crafters and MAN now so there must be demand. They're still narrower than coachbuilts

    • @An.Individual
      @An.Individual Год назад +2

      @@MotorhomeCampervan I think it's because of supply issues with Ducato/Boxers, not because there is demand for a over 7m Sprinter PVC

    If you're rich enough to pay all the new fines for daring to drive it around!

      You'll certainly be OK in the electric Toyota but all the others are Euro 6, so should be exempt from LEZs for quite a while

    I find the continental style of 90 degree upright, fiddly and small front type lounges very unappealing and uncomfortable so would not buy one. Rear lounge, fine but for just two of us and sometimes the cat, a sliding door with opposing seat plus one more to be optimum. Incorporate or invent a lowering permanent bed and I'd bite your hand ( or both) off.

      Bunkervan. Not in the UK yet, but lowering bed in all their vans. They look great.

      How about the Dreamer Living Van with a comfy rear lounge and a drop-down bed up front? Or the Burstner Eliseo Active C 644.

  • @davidbarratt5701
    @davidbarratt5701 Год назад +4

    The Mercedes based Auto-Sleeper looks good quality but the layout is wrong. You don't need a rear lounge, it is superfluous and greatly reduces storage. You have a lounge at the front. You should have a fixed bed at the rear.

    • @CustomiZe_
      @CustomiZe_ Год назад +2

      If you're talking about the first van then there is no front lounge, just the two driving seats. The fixed bed at the back would end up being just wasted space. Plus with the sofas either side, you can fit bikes in the middle. This will be harder to do with a fixed bed. So its not wrong it just attracts a different market.

    • @freeley34
      @freeley34 Год назад

      I want a rear lounge but not opposing sofas. I don't want to have to make up a bed every night either so I don't think I'll ever find what I want in a camper van.

    • @An.Individual
      @An.Individual Год назад +1

      Autosleepers used to do 1 model with rear garage layout but stopped. They think Brits just want rear lounge.
      Myself I want a rear garage layout. AS should copy Adria twin.
