I felt very overwhelmed when I saw the (now) 199 page count of the manual. Thank you for breaking this down into information chunks and showing it to us in action. I'm much better at "watch and learn" than "read and learn"!

Thank You. My Metropolix came today. I liked your tutorial most .. to jump through, for the first touch on Metropolix ( as my first big sequencer ).
Glad to have fun 🤩 ( yeah, i know: RTFM ). Your video is still excellent to get fast success.
    Great job 👏 🔥 👏

My Metropolis just arrived a few days ago and these videos are so helpful. The manual is great too. And what a fun machine. Thanks Intellijel and video-making guy!

I actually love reading manuals. Makes me weird I guess.

Thanks for making this series & taking us along. These are awesome so far. I'm in the same boat; I picked up a Metropolix and while the initial tinkering with it has been super fun, it's time to dig in a bit and learn this thing properly! (Small bit of feedback for future videos: turn up your voice a bit compared to the audio track. I'm finding it hard to hear you at times)

Thanks for the feedback. I’m working on Part 3 at the moment so will take a note of the volume levels. It’s my first few videos so I’m still learning to get the audio and video mixed right. Appreciate the comment.

BRAVO and many thanks for your three videos. excellent and very didactical. Just received the Metropolix. I have also the Melodicer. It is very intuitive and simple to use. Also, very helpful for creativity but apparently limited compared to the Metropolix. Metropolix seems much much more sophisticated with two tracks and infinite possibilities. I am not sure I can handle all those variations and model in my mind the output. So, I hope to be lucky and make some nice accidental sequences :)

Glad you’re enjoying it. There are still a couple more videos I want to make on it but I’ve moved all my studio stuff to a different room over the holidays and now trying to set up a better overhead camera. So it’s taken a while to get everything working again!

Get stuck in! Anything and everything is helpful. As I always say- if I knew then what I know now, I could’ve lived happily ever after with just a Metropolix/s and a Plaits. SO useful and just sheer awesome.

I can't seem to duplicate the sequence you have set at the start. You have stage 6 set to a hold, and stage 7 set to a single. You seem to be getting a pulse for both stages. However, when I try this on my Metropolix, I don't get a separate gate trigger for stage 7. It comes out as one lone gate. Is there a parameter somewhere to alter this behavior?

Mmmm. Not sure. You certainly should be getting a separate trigger for stage 7 as in the video. Things to look at are the Length menu for both the number of stages you are using and the number of pulses - your sequence may not be getting to stage 7. Or look at the Gate menu and see if the length of each gate has been changed from the default. Hope that sorts it out!

Wish you had played the synth output at a lower level, it really distracts from what you are saying which is what I want to hear. However I do appreciate the video anyway.

Yeah me too! I think I got the volume better on Parts 3 and 4. Let me know. About to record part 5 which is all about the loopy button!
