I got blocked while doing 100% no contact. Then found out she was seeing someone else. You pegged it with a great question in this video. Why would I want to be back with someone who, even after a 3 year history with each other, would just shut me completely out of their life and not be willing to deal with things like a rational adult?
Same happened to me. I was blocked because of the guy she monkey branched to. She most likely didn’t want me finding out so she blocked me. I was with her for 3 years and it was hard to understand how she could just cut me out so easily. It’s been two months now since the brake up, but now I feel good and ready to start dating.

Being blocked is a good thing. They won't interfere with your healing process. I randomly got blocked in no contact. I'm angry at her because I was very good to her. Quite sure she is an avoidant

I’ve been blocked on everything then had the same people come back and tell me they couldn’t stop thinking about me. I don’t think it means as much as it looks, I think its a very performative statement and shows you care too much.

This! Unless you harassed someone insesintly to the point of blocking..it's usually not bad.
There are a lot of great comments here, but there is one other reason I feel is important to share. If an ex has blocked you on social media, it is possible that they are using that as a tactic to get you to chase them. If an ex broke up with you as a test, throwing this out there will certainly trigger an emotion out of you; don’t fall for it! Just ignore the situation as if nothing happened, and go on about your business. This tactic is typical, when an ex may be trying the “fake breakup” test to see what your true character shows.
Thanks for the reminder. In my case it’s not a fake breakup. My ex seems mad that I went no contact and he knows me and knows that seeing myself blocked would send me into a downward spiral. Thank god I know not to react!
If I block,
It’s actually nothing to with the ex. It’s because I’m hurting and I need to disassociate completely for my sanity!!! Blocking is a way of self care- something I need to do to help recovery. Blocking is not always about the man, it’s a way of gaining a sense of control, if detaching.

Have gone into no contact for 1 month plus. I deleted her, she blocked me. Everything is super terrible out of nowhere for small reason this happened. Just found out she unblocked me. I am going to continue no contact till she reaches out first. If not will just move on in life. Happy to know she unblocked me but I am not going to reach out to her. I know if I reach out to her.. she will tell me and deny she missed me. This happened many times. So wait for her to reach out and I will be on the upper hand and negotiation will be easier for me and she will cherished more.

Not everyone finds you before we make those mistakes though, coach lol. The last thing I thought I needed was a relationship coach.. but you've definitely made me realize that I have a problem with anxiety. Or if the guy shows he is chasing hard and crawling back, some women bank on this and turn a cold shoulder, trusting he will keep pursuing. In narcissistic women, we know it is about power and control domination. But when a decent woman does this, it is because the man was very wrong to her for far too long and she is trying to rebalance the power and get him to stop controlling everything.

Meg Schültze thank you 🙏🏽 I’ve dated a narcissist woman for two years and she always does the yo-yo affect and blocks me on everything even tho I don’t chase. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even bother anymore, I understand it’s time to focus and become a better version of myself. She’s very attractive and she showed up to my work looking like JAYLO standing out getting attention from different sources, thank god I wasn’t there but it got to me cause if she doesn’t want to be with me blocked me on everything why show up to my work lol everyone knows her. i felt all of this. i was at such a low point in my life when she wanted a break. didn't block me yet but i was a bit needy and blamed her for not caring. she got more upset and everything and had a bad fight and she said leave her alone. i did. joined a call and her mood changed and realized she was being serious about actually breaking up. left me when i needed her the most and i still feel weak.

2 years of relationship. She dumps me with a text message and refuse to see me cause she would "fall back into temptation again" with me. After 2 weeks, she stops replying to my messages without any reason and she blocks me everywhere. I could wish all the worst things ever to this person but in reality I feel like her behaviour just revealed me the toxic person she was.

@@russellspicer817 yes bro, we had the opportunity to talk like 2 times in this year and a half since we broke up, after a long long period of depression, ptsd and stuff i finally got over it, the more the time passed the more i realized how wrong this person was for me and how wrong was the person i was while i was with her. We were supposed to get married very soon but she basically just broke it off with a bs text message and ignored my messages and blocked me everywhere. She skirts responsibly and couldn't even give me proper closure. I get so angry sometimes that I wish the worst on her. She basically revealed that she still had some feelings for her ex but that it wasn't gonna work with him. Yet I still wanted to fix things. This is the worst breakup I've ever been in.
She doesn't take any responsibility, her financial situation is a fucking mess, driving without insurance. I was the best she's gotten and this is the treatment I get
I blocked because it was too painful knowing he wasn't messaging me. If I block, I won't know if he is trying to contact me. He asked for space and I moved aside with dignity and he went right to someone else. I am still deeply in love with him, all I can do is wait but I will not even think about talking to him until I heal and evolve as a person so I can accept a relationship as a whole person.

Thank you so much coach Craig, I really needed to hear this. If someone blocks you over an argument or for any reason you really shouldn't want to be with them. Even if I am mad I've never went so far to block Any of my ex's. I'm definitely gonna move on and i don't think I will give him another chance if he ever contacts me.
What if you blocked your ex and then you find out he blocked you back. His family also blocked me for telling them that I needed to end communication because it is hindering me from moving on... I didn’t expect all of them to block me

Four months into the breakup, my ex still has pictures of us on her Facebook and Instagram. However, I saw last night that she either muted me or blocked me from Facebook but not Instagram and I had noticed that she has the picture of us on our 4 year anniversary up but not our 5th year. What would that mean (to those three things)?
I was so confused, just like the time of the breakup, (minus the crying) that I had a hard time with my workout. So, after my workout, I started watching some of Craig’s videos on the subject to ease my mind and anxiety.

Man this guy's story was serious cringe. My ex blocked me 2 weeks ago after an argument and while it did sting, I've done absolutely nothing to go around the block due to how weak and beta that would make me appear. I didn't even do anything to deserve the block either, she just immediately did it.
I'm sticking to no contact with no expected outcome, if she comes back and apologizes cool, if not then so be it I'll be okay regardless.
Excellent video. Good disclaimer about the legal trouble, but what did it for me is also at 11:30 where you talk about how blocking shows an inability to have conversations. In my case, it's been a month since she got mad for Im not sure what yet and have no answers. I sent a card and she said she appreciated the time/space but then I demanded to know how much longer she needed... I also tried to force a meetup which got me blocked. But I don't feel as bad about it anymore because no matter how attracted I am to her, if she cannot be a "partner" thru thick and thin (which means discussing issues as they arise). then is that really a partnership?

Should I remove her friends/family from social media as well as she did to me before blocking? A move like that could be perceived as moving on and accepting the break up. Is this a way to take power back after 6 weeks of no contact?

I do something like that with my ex (I told that her sister is the main reason of the break up) and she removed me from her social media. Now she is angry with me. The good thing is that now is easier to focus on my self growth, this situation helped me to stop stalking her social media and is easier to move on.

I’d would like to leave this comment from the other perspective….. I blocked someone what may have seen as out of the blue for 5 weeks but it wasn’t out the blue… it was feelings I had been bottling up and the smallest thing made me explode… I blocked him because I cared waayyy to much for him and it was the only way I felt that would help me move on from him because I felt he was toxic for me. So sometimes someone blocked you because you mean so much to them they feel they are putting too much energy into you and not themselves. My advice when getting blocked is the same as the video give it time and space and make sure you create a safe place for them to open up to you about their feelings

Hello coach, I’m that ex. I couldn’t handle the separation anxiety anymore. I kept looking at his social media for signs of abandonment. Yesterday I was “abandoned”... he is seeing a woman that has a child after saying he didn’t want to be in a committed relationship with me because he didn’t see himself with children or being married. I’m heartbroken, but deleting him is the only way I can stop obsessing. Thank you for the great video! It helps me understand my feelings.

Hi. I was dating this girl for 2 years and we just broke up last week. We did a long distance relationship for the first year and I would go visit her when I could. I just moved to her home state to be closer to her and we could take our relationship to the next level. She has been distant with me 2 months before the breakup. In the early stages of our relationship we texted and snapchated everyday. She is 18 years old and I am 20 years old. She is Jewish and I am not. Her parents just found out about me 3 weeks before the break up. I’ve become needy and I haven’t given her the space to miss me since we started dating. So I had initially deactivated my Facebook at the same time I started no contact. I had to do it for my own sanity so I wouldn't keep looking at her page. So Coach, you instructed me to wait and reactivate it then post pictures of me living my happy life and to change my profile picture to one of me with other girls. So I did exactly that. I posted my pictures of my day trip to D.C. alone. Well, I found out that about a day after doing that my ex blocked me. I am thinking this is a test to see how I will react. I'm not worried yet, because I went without Facebook for a month and a half, It's not like I will miss anything. I am pretty sure she saw my posts and couldn't handle seeing me happy. What do you think? Do you think its hopeless? Like I said, I'm not worried yet.

Hi, I went no contact when she told that she dont know what she want and that she isnt ready for something right now, se said that to me when I asked her out and we talked for about 3-4 months and had an amazing holiday togheter in spain, I was confused bc she should say that to me much earlier if she wasnt ready, so I just answered ”ok then I know” and whent no contact, 3 weeks later I saw that she deleted me on snapchat, our only social media we got eachother in, did she do that to grab my attention? Or was this a punishment? What is a action like this? So immature and confusing, and yes it hurt
So ex got bothered i asked him about liking several photos and half naked photos on tiktok, he said im good .im done. Went on TikTok then blocked me, then he decides to make fake profiles and try to be friend me and want to get to know me on my DM, send a weird text about another man ..like what does he want.. leave me alone you broke it off. Not ince bit twice (he came back after breaking itnoff thebfirst time)

Focus on yourself and improve your self, I'm in the same situation. I never abuse her or hurt her hard emotionally. I have trust issue and jealousy but I still let her do everything and she lied saying I didn't which is bs because she still go places, dress how she wants, and talk to whom ever. She basically contradict herself. I gave her my all and was her beat and handle her when she is mad. When I get mad I calm my self down and even apologize to her and never hurt her. She swear to call the cop if I contact her when she broke up with me....unbelievable. I later realize my problem like trust issue and jealousy but my reason of having them is a good one because she is still friends with guy who used her and called her names but me the good guy got to be blocked...she even friends with same race as I am but out of all of them I am blocked. Her parents don't like me because I'm not their religion and race. But she didn't care and love me in the past but now she is like a whole new person.

This guy I see from time to time blocked me from Instagram and fb. A couple of months ago but still communicates with me through Kik and messenger 2 it 3 times a week when we are in good terms. You're giving your ex absolutely no reason to miss you by staying friends. the best cases where people get back together is when you completely disappear out of their life cause by you talking to her, she never misses you enough to leave the other guy. Even if i stick to 30 days NC, i don't know if he'll unblock me, we're using an app where if you block someone they're gone from your list and you won't be able to find them. Craige me and my ex were together for almost 5 yrs and he preset up his rebound relationship before ending it with my and we got in a tiny tiff about the rebound and he only unfriended my on fb but he still still has pics up of me and my daughter in his picture section and his profile is totally open, we were engaged and it was tagged on his profile but since he unfriended me it still says engaged and the year we got engaged. Hi Craig Kenneth and others, what if my ex blocked me after 8 weeks of no contact from her part after the break up? I did send her messages in the first weeks which she did read but not reply but I stopped contacting her after she called the police when I went to her house to just say hi. I feel really bad because I was leaving her alone now for 3 weeks already and now suddenly she blocks me on facebook and whatsapp. I know she is trying to find someone else but I also know she did not succeed yet.
