ArachnoTube yeh I wouldn’t use anything else now, got a couple to upgrade to the bigger ones now too, be awesome if TSS did even bigger versions of them 🤞🏼

PETROCK ‘N’ROLL A 1.3L BraPlast tub is pretty much a size up from the medium one. Can lift the front up like the flap and feed through it.

I recently purchased a brachypelma hamorii spiderling from you guys. So cute and so tiny. I'll definitely use you guys again.

My N. Chromatus wasn't overly fussed going in either, much rather have a mooch over the paper towel and me than go in the box. Other 2 were straight in and down the pre-made burrows.
Looking forward to bringing them on from this stage though.

@@frostedlambs my N. chromatus & A. gabeli are still super tiny, but the mojority of my other s'lings are getting pretty big.
Is good seeing those little full stops with legs now as just smaller versions of the juveniles & above ones in my collection.

Those spiderlings are way too small for those size of enclosures. They do better in pill pots.

Although your most certainly correct, keeping them in an enclosure this size only makes feeding and checking on them more difficult, other than that these sizes can benefit brand new keepers in many ways compared to the sling Vials. 👍

Is possible to switch one of the slings species with a Grammastola Pulchra sling

the versi i got from you guys had no interest in its enclosure it was straight on my hand as soon as i opened the pot. it seems to have a talent for jumping on my hand every time i need to do something in the enclosure ordered the 2nd one today :)

This is quite a important question well I thinks so bacically I'm planning on getting a green cottle blue pretty sure that's the name but ye and since there terrestrial will that tub be good for them cause they might need something to make webs like a plant or something

How would you heat a sling enclosure and juvenile,s should I be using a heat mat? Some say yes some say no ? I'm getting a red knee in January

    • @D4vyM4n
      @D4vyM4n 3 года назад +2

I don't use heat pads for my 3 sling's I just keep them in the warmest room in the house next to the radiator pretty much just make sure they are heated 24 hours a day as they don't like being cold and if they are cold you will notice condensation on the top of the enclosure

I've ordered a starter kit from you and am just waiting for it to arrive; I've got a question about the best way to heating requirements for the 3 boxes. What is the best way to deal with this here in the Uk?

When they're just young ages.. around 2/3 X they're leg span is all that's required and you don't want the enclosure to be too big anyway 👍

As I am completely new/ novice to keeping tarantulas/ arachnids as pets I was just wondering if you/ anyone could possibly help giving advice regarding this topic of giving water to tarantulas. Do you need to treat/ give specific type of water such as spring water/ well water/ mineral water such as e.g. Volvic Or Evian bottle water or is general tap water fine for whether it is for small juvenile tarantula or spiderlings tarantulas for species Brachypelma Hamorii ( Mexican Red Knee); and is it okay for when also misting/ speaying or dampening the enclosure for the tarantulas or again having to use a specific water such as bottled natural still spring water or mineral water ratherthan tap/ RO water/ distilled water etc. From a local garden centre or pet shop. Why I ask is I live in UK and obviously depending upon where u live around the world or even different locations in and around a specific country the water conditions maybe different quality such aswater hardness, PH or pollutants such as possibly Ammonia or heavy metals etc.
Again sorry for the long message but as I am completely new to this hobby although not new with keeping tropical freshwater/ cold water fush as pets which obviously require special treatment when changing/ adding water from a tap etc. Into the aquarium/ fish tank.
    Thank you,
    Tom from UK.
