@Tendo Kurama probably cause you hunt monsters and I think the reason it's like Dark Souls is cause that the difficulty is hard and it has a little bit of Shadow of the Colossus cause you can climb monsters. Really good game

Arisen is really easy to walk and standby if you follow is pace, I didnt mean it was a child'splay, its just that, compared to games like dark souls 1, or MFHU, it is, and you can be broken as hell ingame
I’ve beaten the BitterBlack Isle dlc on hard mode, but it was grueling, and you did it in an hour. Awesome run, just re-re-re-repurchased this for the switch, can’t wait to level up enough to revisit BItterblack Isle
Magic in dragon's dogma dark arisen is the only way to play 👍 magick archer is so powerful and easy to play solo even on hard. It's the farming for the equipment that takes time👍enjoy the magick archer if you play this class.
Gratz and thanks for the video. It all look so easy but its not. You need to have the right equipment and armor and not only have the skills but also know how and when to use it....You don't get to this point in game that fast. Also you can see that the player not only know how to play it but also knows what its coming and where. Its obvious that this is not a first run...all doors are open and the player has the best bow in game, not easy to get. I did enjoy the video and did learn a lot, so thanks again for sharing it to us.

Most players think that if you're a high enough level, you'll beat this content easily. But it's all about the gear. Yes, we should be level 47 at least to not being drained by stamina, but that's about it, especially with the Mage Archer class. It's all about getting that sweet sweet gear
When I started the game again on PC recently, I wanted to try some other classes that didn't feel so overpowered but would be fun to play, so I tried Ranger. Then, after running into some problems with some enemies, I switched to Magick Archer and felt like it wasn't a game anymore lol. It was all very interesting gameplay until you get to burn enemies down fairly quick with Ricochet Hunter and Ninefold Bolts even without optimal stats. Oh well... Magick Archer is still a cool concept anyway.
I strongly disagree! For a lot of people feeling powerful in this game is what it's all about! There are so many videos that show how every single class can be OP. It's all about what your play style is.
Love this game so much I need to get back on this and finish it. I always find myself choosing to start over when I decide to play it again haha never gets old The only thing I don't like about this game is the min maxing part for the vocation like magic archer for example. To maximze your MA potential you need to build Mage 1 to 10 then Sorc 10 to 200. If you choose this path this kinda give you little time to enjoy the vocation of choosing coz levveling a vocation to 200 is already completing the game in itself hehehe. Still a very good game overall
How do you get 3773 magick ? Meanwhile, with the gold Rarefied blackwing bow, I only got 2410 magick, even though I was already using the trophy armor set with master ring magick +80 and also the same augment as you are using but still couldn't touch the 3000 magick number

Finally prepared a character ready to become a magic archer! Played over 4 days, not sure on hours but over the last 4 days did the recommended mage 1-10 sorcerer 10-200. To be fair first playthrough plus some farming as sorcerer was so fun. Didn't realise just how powerful the sorcerer class could become. Looking forward to building a magic archer now. Probably just run second playthrough as enjoy fighting within the dungeons in the everfall! There's a funny story, everfall! The first boss was taking next to no damage (the giant eye) idk what made me try holy focused bolt against him but my god that spell destroyed it! Hopefully this game gets a remake (remastered version) or re-released with the second game.
Just did first playthrough of dark arisen dlc, literally start to finish on hard. Looking forward to second run, tougher enemies and going to search everywhere for chests. Hopefully acquire some decent gear!

@Gabriel Piontkowsky maybe. but I got maxed out Dragon's Breath and Heaven's Key and my Ninefold Bolt did no visible damage to Daimon's second form. Everytime I fought him I had to basic attack him down for like 20 minutes
you need to drink 2 potions(I forgot which one)...4 bottles of each type to multiply and max out your damage to the enemy. Seem like ps4 is easier than ps3. I was waiting for DD 2 which never come. They released the online one for japan and oversea only.
I really dislike the use 4 str or magic boost potions to actually do damage.. I do hope that’s not a thing in dragons dogma 2 it shouldn’t stack like that honestly makes a lot of content trivial when it allows that to happen.
I know this is a late question and I'ma pretty great dragons dogma player and fan but I have to ask this...I carry about 20-30 of kingwarish and pyrite mushrooms for hp and stamina but should I just carry harspud sauce instead for both? My two burden me quite a bit with the weight and the harspuds would be less weight...please reply I would really appreciate the input ☺️
I tend to keep 10 harspud sauce in all of our inventory, depends on their carrying capacity as you can quickly give more to each other so you can have that pawn dedicated to healing items

@@faisalthoughtsofficial Playing any class from 10 to 200 is boring, and you don't really lose much by playing other classes. Most of your damage comes from weapons anyway. The best way to level is to play solo, and cheese death in bbi by making him fall to his death. Easiest way to knockout death is with blast arrows with 4 conqueror's periapts, don't forget to use items that grant weal (exp boost, pilgrim's charm). Don't worry about your pawn, they are designed to be the same level as you, they'll get an exp boost if you're a higher level than them. I solo farmed to 200, and then level'd my pawn, I killed one rat, and my pawn jumped up 40 levels at once lol. If this is your first playthrough, don't make the game boring for yourself by trying to min max. Play the game how you want, you don't miss much at all that way.
Impossible for me to stay on the same vocation for that long. My 150 level character has maxed all vocations, so he can be whatever I want to play. Not the most OP, but you can mix abilities as you want for crazy builds.
Yeah, I'm doing the same on my first playthrough. This guys' min/max archer is probably not his first playthrough, I'd imagine. Anyhow, I'm playing a mystic knight, so I'll use all those stats I got from leveling everything :)
Man do I love this game, idk if the success of MHW:Iceborne will help get DD:DA 2 made because they just had their best selling game ever, or will hurt it because MHW was the best selling game ever and they are like activision and go all in on making as much money as possible in the immediate and don’t give a sheet about the future. Dragons dogma already has the coolest magick (yes with a K) system in any game, they just have to expand what hey did in dark arisen because this was made for the PS3!! This game is not hard just lvl up. You have pawns to help you early game bandits wreck you after a while since I play assassin I have crap health and defense but I end fights in seconds

@@geert574 You're right I just got the room wrong but those damn amulets suspended above the back of that area are impossible to hit with MA. Did you find it? Rotundra of Dread or Black Abbey is the location and debris from maelstrom from a pawn got it done after a loooooong time.
With such high magic stat, why use the framae blades, and not the spitfire, or heaven's keys? Seems like such a waste, since physical damage scales from strength and magic damage scales from magic.
I see that you deal critical damage and see you use few items. I wonder what can I do to improve? For one I've never been a magic archer but for near entirely an assassin with a sorcerer pawn. Plus another sorcerer and a ranger. I'm level 105 something like that. Or maybe it's because you use no pawns at all? Which do you prefer assassin or magic archer?

rank 9 sorcerer is less damage than rank 9 mag arch early game, due to the magickal rebalancer skill. Yeah you can switch whenever you like, but you need to level up the vocation to get the skills
Magic and strength Stats don't end up making that big of a difference down the line. Gear and augments make up the majority of your damage, so play what you like
playing as a magic archer with max magic stat is op but playing as sorcerer for nearly 200 levels is boring imo, a pure assassin build is easier to reach max level by farming death with blast arrows and you can get roughly a 900 attack stat and with that you can pretty much melt every enemy in the game except Daimon

@Jaffacus Once you have the gear, it doesnt really matter much. I stopped bothering about optimizing builds since my first playthrough. It is just not worth it, specially when you account the fun you lose.
You probably already know, but some items can be assigned to 'hotkey' (on PS4 it's lb + rb and a direction on dpad). It's one of the options when you select an item from your menu
My build for MA 1-10 Mage 11-17 Sorcerer 17-100 Ranger 101-200 Sorcerer STATS HP-3413/ST-4165 Atk-404/Mgk-720 Def-250/MDef-438 For those that are interested, this build gives a nice amount of stamina for Magic Archer that’s nearly as magically strong as the 10-Mage/11-200 Sorcerer build :)
i was lvl 21 when enter bbi ... not a good experience... the only shit i could kill was the gobling and small cyclop but then that fuckign ogre appear... and i kill it with 9 bombs 9 oil flasks and 40 sleep arrows :P... Then i tried the first arena it was a hydra with some bullshit wolfs that one almost oneshot you by biting you all same time... time to lvl before go there again
And this is exactly why we dint need to care about min maxing and you should just play the class you like. Lvl 200 is more than enough to clear the game I'm a pure assassin with a pure mage pawn cause I like the support spells. Glass cannons are great it's just like dark souls that way
Play with every class you wish. Worry more about upgrading your weapons than how you level your character. Try to always play at Very Light weight. Pawns learn from you, so if you want to use them rather than play solo, educate them so they become useful. Consumables are valuable, so throwblasts, utility arrows, potions, stats enhancers are always welcome and you should carry/use them. Have fun.
Go on hard mode push death of the cliff in the room where he spawns pre Daimon . Use pilgrim charms before killing death . Make sure that you are doing it by yourself and then get out of hard mode and repeat.

Incorrect. While leveling that way does give you higher magic attack. It is insignificant. In this game, espeically late game, most damage come from weapon stats, leveling stats are only a small part. Even a lvl fighter will have similiar damage output if correctly equipped. Do not worry about leveling at all.

With goldforged weapons it should be no problem, really.
I can kill Daimon with a level 30 strider with no great struggle at all.

Impossible for me to stay on the same vocation for that long. My 150 level character has maxed all vocations, so he can be whatever I want to play. Not the most OP, but you can mix abilities as you want for crazy builds.
Yeah, I'm doing the same on my first playthrough. This guys' min/max archer is probably not his first playthrough, I'd imagine. Anyhow, I'm playing a mystic knight, so I'll use all those stats I got from leveling everything :)
Man do I love this game, idk if the success of MHW:Iceborne will help get DD:DA 2 made because they just had their best selling game ever, or will hurt it because MHW was the best selling game ever and they are like activision and go all in on making as much money as possible in the immediate and don’t give a sheet about the future. Dragons dogma already has the coolest magick (yes with a K) system in any game, they just have to expand what hey did in dark arisen because this was made for the PS3!! A well known terrible system to develop for. The PS4/PS5 are way easier and Capcom have the money now to do it. Please Capcom, we need a sequel.

The hardest part for me in this game is always the early levels. Bandits are fuckin OPed early game. I'd rather fight a Chimera.
This game is not hard just lvl up. You have pawns to help you early game bandits wreck you after a while since I play assassin I have crap health and defense but I end fights in seconds
This dude is literally max lvl. That doesn't means you suck literally just play and level up. If you think DD is too hard try beating the souls franchise lol

How do you defeat the Metal Golem with unreachable suspended discs in the Sparyard of Scant Mercy? Is this Magick Archer's Achilles' heel on a solo run?
that golem is not in Sparyard you never have to fight him its just one useless room somewhere
@@geert574 You're right I just got the room wrong but those damn amulets suspended above the back of that area are impossible to hit with MA. Did you find it? Rotundra of Dread or Black Abbey is the location and debris from maelstrom from a pawn got it done after a loooooong time.

With such high magic stat, why use the framae blades, and not the spitfire, or heaven's keys? Seems like such a waste, since physical damage scales from strength and magic damage scales from magic.
There's no rank10 for vocations as I've looked over the web ppl are saying that it only goes up to rank 9

For one I've never been a magic archer but for near entirely an assassin with a sorcerer pawn. Plus another sorcerer and a ranger. I'm level 105 something like that. Or maybe it's because you use no pawns at all?

Hi I am sorcere level 56 can I switch to magic archer and do more dmg? Or I need to be level 200? Also do I get all the skills needed right away or not?
Stay as a Sorcerer to keep getting those big magic stats, then switch to Magick Archer later. The more levels you've put into Sorcerer, the better!
rank 9 sorcerer is less damage than rank 9 mag arch early game, due to the magickal rebalancer skill.
Yeah you can switch whenever you like, but you need to level up the vocation to get the skills
Magic and strength Stats don't end up making that big of a difference down the line. Gear and augments make up the majority of your damage, so play what you like
playing as a magic archer with max magic stat is op but playing as sorcerer for nearly 200 levels is boring imo, a pure assassin build is easier to reach max level by farming death with blast arrows and you can get roughly a 900 attack stat and with that you can pretty much melt every enemy in the game except Daimon

look up builds for the vocation you want to main, assassin has the highest strength stat growth and sorcerer has the highest magic attack stat growth
Dont care about the build. Just play the game. Gear matters much more than stats. Just play with what you think its fun
@Jaffacus Once you have the gear, it doesnt really matter much. I stopped bothering about optimizing builds since my first playthrough. It is just not worth it, specially when you account the fun you lose.

How're you using items without opening the menu?
You probably already know, but some items can be assigned to 'hotkey' (on PS4 it's lb + rb and a direction on dpad). It's one of the options when you select an item from your menu

i was lvl 21 when enter bbi ... not a good experience... the only shit i could kill was the gobling and small cyclop but then that fuckign ogre appear... and i kill it with 9 bombs 9 oil flasks and 40 sleep arrows :P... Then i tried the first arena it was a hydra with some bullshit wolfs that one almost oneshot you by biting you all same time... time to lvl before go there again
Yeah I recommend doing ng+ first before you go to bbi
And this is exactly why we dint need to care about min maxing and you should just play the class you like. Lvl 200 is more than enough to clear the game I'm a pure assassin with a pure mage pawn cause I like the support spells. Glass cannons are great it's just like dark souls that way
Mage pawn is useless after you have enough gold for curatives and remedies. You should have a sorcerer pawn.

farm and farm like crazy take your time D
Play with every class you wish. Worry more about upgrading your weapons than how you level your character. Try to always play at Very Light weight. Pawns learn from you, so if you want to use them rather than play solo, educate them so they become useful.
Consumables are valuable, so throwblasts, utility arrows, potions, stats enhancers are always welcome and you should carry/use them.

Use mods to get better stat increase for whatever class you want to use so you can actually play it.
Honestly I just stopped caring now I just choose the one vocation I wanna be and stick with it.

Go on hard mode push death of the cliff in the room where he spawns pre Daimon . Use pilgrim charms before killing death . Make sure that you are doing it by yourself and then get out of hard mode and repeat.
Hey im fairly new to this game so if im correct i stay as mage till im level 10 then switch to sorcerer and stay as that class till level 200 then ill be strong enough to solo with anu class that uses magic? Like mage, sorcerer, magick archer, and mystic knight
Incorrect. While leveling that way does give you higher magic attack. It is insignificant. In this game, espeically late game, most damage come from weapon stats, leveling stats are only a small part. Even a lvl fighter will have similiar damage output if correctly equipped. Do not worry about leveling at all.
In fact, what leveling influences te most is actually health and stamina, and mage/sorcerer has the worst of both.
Yeah min/max offers you best possible thing for that vocation but if you think sorc is boring dont worry about it.
