Fantastic condition! The Bill Blass Edition Mark VI is, in my opinion, the best/nicest special edition that Lincoln ever built. The nautical theme, and the navy-and-white exterior and interior are stunning. Some lucky person will be buying an incredible automobile. Bill, it is amazing how you can get so many near-perfect-condition vehicles! 👍
Wow...another Beauty! The only thing missing on this baby is a Sunroof! I don't know how they were able to keep that White Interior in that shape for all these years!! And I'd like to commend you Bill for keeping that Purse with the Vehicle! It shows that you are a Very Decent Person!! I look forward to doing business with you on one of these Beauties one day!!🙂🙂
Back in 1979, if you ordered a Bill Blass Mark V with a sunroof, the faux convertible top was not available like it was on later model years. Neither was the half roof, so you had to accept the full unpadded base model vinyl roof with a stainless trim piece around the rear window glass. That meant you even went without a Frenched rear window. While it's nice to have one of the nice large sunroofs that came on these Marks, most people opted for the convertible top despite the fact that it was significantly more expensive. I have both cars and it really is the best look. But that's just my humble opinion
Bill, Newark Airport just built a new parking garage. My 2007 Town Car's entire front quarter panel sticks out past all the other cars I park next to. I couldn't even imagine how much your car would stick out LOL. Best of luck to your new owner.
I can hear Johnny Olson on Price is Right saying and your new Bill Blass Handbag will look good with your new Bill Blass Car !!! Yes the brand new 1979 Bill Blass Lincoln Continental Mark Five...
That is a great looking car - the color scheme is distinctly late 70's, but in a good way. I love that the buyer could get a Mark V in just about any paint/interior color combo they wanted back in the today, a far cry from today where you can get your car in any color you like, as long as you like silver, white, black, blue, or red.

Im so glad you got the Car!!!! I can tell you more about it that you will love. It truly is a beauty and Avandra was a very amazing lady. She had many great cars.
You guys always do a top notch detailing. I want to share some of your footage on my page and tell a bit of history . Truly a car to be seen!! I ask for your permission to post it first.
My family used to belong to a yacht club in the Detroit area during this period. It wasn’t unusual to wake up on their boat and find brand new Lincoln’s and Continentals parked in front of my folks boat and a photo crew setting up to take photos of the new line up for the fall. Photo stylists would be polishing and shining every car while waiting for them to be moved into position. This took place quite a few years in a row. In a few shots you can make out my relatives Lincolns and my dad dark brown 4 door Cougar in the background. It was always an interesting.
At last a low milage Mark V in mint condition. This one will have the collectors fighting over it. That is if it makes it to BAT Now this is a car of my dreams, comfort and style all in one package. If only i lived in the USA, shipping plus the SVT test would make it very expensive to import to the UK. You will have no problem selling this one Bill.
@@christianbugatticg This is too good for any Lincoln MK V collector to miss. Imagine having a full fleet of of the special editions in this condition. Don't give this one away Bill, even you will struggle to find another one.
WOW!!! This is an absolutely amazing time capsule! This was absolutely one of my dream cars back in 1979! Truly amazing!
Thank you! Well if this one hits Bring a Trailer I am brining it to sell! Stay tuned!
My mother had this exact car - I took it to my high school prom in 1989 :)
You were one very lucky kid!
Oh nice!! This has a lot of breathing room inside! lol lol

That must have been very cool!
Drop dead gorgeous! So nice to have all the documentation and, of course, the matching handbag.
Yes! I really love this one!
Beautiful vehicle. Lincoln in 79 was still a premium American style vehicle. I think the foreign cars are OK, its just a different style of vehicle.
No foreign car had the silky-smooth ride of a Lincoln, especially for the money.
I agree but back then there were not many foreign cars that would compete with these big Lincolns!
Beautiful! Ordered properly options wise too.
Yes it was. Thanks!
Just a drop dead gorgeous car! This is amazing. I would like to drop in a 500HP engine.
Though not 500hp, I've seen people actually get a decent amount of power from that 400 with some modifications.
Lol! Would you really do that??
@@owlnswan4016 Nice

Why thank you! Hope you got a notification on this one! If not you are doing a hell of a job following along! lol

A gorgeous example of American luxury at its finest!
Indeed it is!
1st class.....
Thank you Sir!!
My God you can live inside these cars when is the TV and a pillow when you're good to go that's why I only collect a big boats on with the show
Yes! You talk about comfortable!
Superb interior, but it's interesting that Ford cheaped out on a rear armrest for such a fancy and expensive car.
Yeah I see that.
@@christianbugatticg I believe the Eldorado and its stablemates had one, just like Fiat and Lada.:)
@@paulparoma I think you are correct.

@christianbugatticWelcome!
Power Seats ?
Standard. 6 way drive and I think 2 way passenger but 6 way/6way may have been standard on designer models.
It has six white seats on both sides
Yes!
I saw a power tilt on the driver seat as well.
6-way power passenger seat was indeed standard on Designer Edition and Luxury Group cars.
