I am picking up a 2014 c300 today, couldn't be more excited. Any tips on what to do to make a similar sound. I am thinking a muffler and resonator delete with an x pipe.

It sounds perfect!!! I live in Pennsylvania also and have a 2013 C300 Sport. I’ve done a drop in K&N Filter, throttle tuner, X pipe. I was looking into exhaust systems for our models and they are just too pricey. Did you have any issues with passing inspection? That’s my only concern. Thanks.
I didn’t get any check engine lights so no the guy I go to doesn’t care if I don’t have the mufflers or anything on as long as I don’t have a check engine light
You should use the OEM filter, the K&N can fuck up your engine long term. I’m in Pa also, where you located? I know Red run exhaust can make that car loud with exhaust for under $500

It only had 29,000 miles I had to grab it haha. I’ve pretty much done all the outside mods to make it beefier like my 63. Upgraded to the AMG 19” black series rims, window tint, upgraded the infotainment to the newer android and apple car play display. All black AMG front grill and fogs, badge deletes except for rear benz badge (switched with black instead of chrome) and chrome deletion everywhere else on car. So now I’m onto the exhaust, I love this rear diffuser and the quad tips. Do you have a link where you got those two parts? and finally, is there a reason you chose to straight pipe instead of X pipe? I love the sound of the straight pipe and I think its sounds better than any X pipes I’ve seen. but I also read that straight pipe might be a little excessive and is not needed if you’re just driving the C300. It sounds just like my C63, but I would feel like a dweeb if some M5 or something pulled up and wants to race me cause it sounds and looks just like a C63, and then i just putter off like gramps when the light changes haha. Did you have to do a muffler delete and or resonator delete as well? Sorry to ask so many questions lol, I’m just trying to guage why people chose to straight or X so I can figure out what suits me. Since I’m in PA as well, who did the work for you? I don’t know many shops that would take on this job for me, except for some Amish places around Lancaster County lol. You don’t need the pipes once you go to the muffler shop and tell them you want to do a muffler delete with straight pipes they will put them in for you.

I have ordered a Megan Racing Full stainless catback setup for it but from my understanding it's a really quite exhaust, but I was kinda hoping to keep everything mandrel bent Stainless steel all the way back to the Black Titanium E63 AMG Quad tips that I have to finish It off with.... I suppose perhaps the exhaust shop will have some stainless pipe they can built it out if for me though right? Or probably not so much? It would just suck to have nearly 2k tied up in exhaust by the time it's all installed and then have it still be quiet lol
@@reags3460 I ordered the Megan Racing stainless catback with the stainless rolled tips on it, But I have a pair of black Titanium E63 quad tips to have welded on the rear! I liked the idea of being able to bolt it up myself for the most parts and then just get the tips welded on it or possible weld in some electronic cutouts with turn downs under it ... just havent decided for certain just yet is all... mine is almost done finally... all it lacks of being finished is the lowering springs installed on it, and the exhaust and then I can put my carbon side extentions on it and finish blacking out all my chrome... mine is a 2014 Diamond silver metallic c300 sport plus model with the red and black AMG interior and such in it.. and full carbon lip and diffuser and roof spoiler and rear spoiler and rear side extentions and all that fun stuff! And staggered 19s with tires too (cant forget that) (wallet cant at least) lol Mini fortune tied up in mine
Go on eBay and type in w204 carbon roof spoiler you might be able to find it. The one I have sticks out a lot further than the ones that everyone else has but I tried sending you the link to the one I got but they don’t have it up anymore
Thanks man! I spent around $100 on an x-pipe. Then another $280ish to get my x-pipe put in and the mufflers taken off with straight pipes. You can get an x-pipe for way cheaper I just bought a magnaflow so it was a lot more.

It can be a little annoying at times if you are going up hills and stuff like that but I've gotten used to it and it isn't anything to bad when you have music playing and are driving normally.

Doing the muffler delete does make it very loud. It sounds a lot louder in person than over the video but I love how it sounds with a resonator and muffler delete. The drone can be annoying at times but I’ve gotten used to it and I’m almost always blasting music anyways.
@@reags3460 I want it to be decently loud. What I might do is delete the mufflers since I already got the x-pipe on and if it’s too loud i’ll just take it to the shop and put the resonator on.

Stick with OEM filter. Change it twice a year. Best way to protect your engine.

nah, the second cat or basically primary resonator delete doesn’t through any trouble codes…

Haven’t heard it with them straight but it’s definitely not gonna sound bad might even sound a little louder.

Nah it’d sound a little less than this but anything straight piped would sound aggressive 😂
The c250 has a 4 cylinder so it's not gonna be the same exact sound as mine but if you put an exhaust on it you can get a really good sound from it.
