Amidst my bingeing on your old videos I was just going to comment and say how your intro music puts me in a great mood and a wonderful mental place to watch the "show". Then I read the story from Kelly Williams about the Lady and her memories and sheet music! How music can transport us! Thanks for sharing yours.
Scott I have a short story for you, I met a wonderful 93 yr old Lady, once or twice a week I go and have a formal tea with her, and help her tidy up her gorgeous Victorian home, One day I was tidying her kitchen watching your video's, she heard your music playing and became so excited and animated, telling me her Mother and Father used to dance on Saturday nights in the parlor to the very music you play on your videos, after setting her up with your video's on my phone, she sent me to the attic to a old trunk and asked me to bring down old sheet music inside, she has many fond memories of her Mother playing piano as a little girl, and dancing with her Father while standing on his shoes, she has requested of me, to send you several, I thought you may enjoy them for the graphics on the covers, and could possibly have them framed? they are from the 1910's to 30's and they are in fantastic condition.. I would be so grateful of you to allow me to fulfill her request.. I didn't know how else to reach you other than here on your RUclips or your Ebay site.. could you email me at witch_n_whispers@yahoo.com to set up arrangements getting these to you.. I will pay the shipping to honor her request, as I adore her.. a side note. she thinks your a wonderful and handsome young man and said if she was 20 yrs younger...lol ...*winks*
Oh my goodness I just don't know where to begin! I'll start by saying thank you so very much and I'm thrilled. Please tell your friend that I am delighted and excited to receiver the sheet music. I have a nice collection of old sheet music from my family dating back to the 1920's and I actually attempt at playing them on the piano! I'm honored to add her cherished music to my collection. And as a special treat, please ask her to pick out a favorite and I'll attempt to learn it on my piano and then play it in the near future! Let's hope she picks and easy one! I will contact you via your email. Thank you so much!

Oh I'm so glad you enjoy seeing my poor old run down city! Some sections of town really show their age but I find beauty in both the country and the city. Thanks for watching!
Ha yes. Actually that was a trolley. Yes a real trolley that runs on two tracks and has over head electric cables to power it along! You could not really tell that from the view point of the camera. The old green and cream trolleys date back to the 1940's and they run east and west through west Philly.
What a nice ride through town,im so glad they saved the met and all those beautiful homes i wish our heritage streets still looked like that.always love your choices and the thrift stores you take me to.
I love seeing the buildings and architecture when you film from the car and it doesn't bother me at all but I laughed out loud when I saw your warning "if you get dizzy close your eyes and count to ten" 😂😂😂. That huge Christmas tree for $5......You lucky dog!!! Oh my gosh, I loved that green trim restaurant wear! I would have probably walked away with at least a place setting for 4 LOL. Thanks for taking us with you.
Oh my gosh!!! All that wintergreen Syracuse china to the right of those other diner dishes you were looking at!! I collect those and have never seen such a large stash. Now i'm sad.
Hey Scott. I started smiling when I heard "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry in the background at the thrift store. LOL. That's definitely "music to thrift by". I love that pink sofa too, but not those two vases. Wouldn't you like to meet the person that donated those records...Liberace, Richard Simmons, Organ Fantasy????
If I had a truck it would almost be worth driving to wherever that couch is to buy it. Why don't they make furniture like that anymore? I just love it! Do you remember what they were asking for it? So classy.

I felt like driving with you as a tourist for sightseeing to see the beautiful houses of Philadelphia. I visited Philly 1988 just for two days. New thrift store, my favorite was the restaurant ware you showed. Thanks for taking me to your tour. Love your way of looking things.
Great way to start my day. A little tour of historic Philly, a lot of vintage goodness. I wouldn’t have bought the three ladies/graces vases, not in my wheelhouse. But the alligator Florida souvenir was! The restaurant-ware was fabulous. There was so much I loved in the second shop. The pricing was interesting. Thanks for taking us along. You have some great thrift stores to browse.

Love the scottie dogs - I have a similar trio made in occupied Japan. Good call on the Pyrex - those lids are worth it! I found a similar Black Embroidery casserole at an estate sale last weekend 🙌, but when I looked it up I realized it was missing its square lid. 😳 Luckily, I went back the next day and found it at the very top of a kitchenware box lot and they got it out for me!
