Thanks for taking us on a longer thrifting adventure. I do like the back and forth format. The gazelle vase and the lamp are my favorite pieces from your haul.
I like the pitcher, the crack gives it character. The bowls are gorgeous, clear glass is making a comeback. My son is 33 and he Loves crystal and EAPG. His tastes are changing and I am amazed at what his generation is starting to collect.
Such a shame the pink cake plate was broken but the console bowls made up for it. The lamp is wonderful and I'm glad you are able to bring those things back to life for another generation to enjoy.
How wonderful is this, we sit here, drink our coffee and you take us with you thrifting, this is how I like it. The lamp, ooooooohh the lamp is everything, thank you for saving that beautiful item and well what I maybe didn't like, weelllllll maybe the plastic dishes, maybeeeee the plastic is not my thing either, buuuutttt I have respect, some people might love them, I even hope someone loves them. Thank you so much Scott for showing us.
I just love going along on these antique thrifting trips! The music sets it off! Nice view of the downtown area. My those sts seem narrow to me! Yikes! I love the Hall vases. That 30s and 4Os decor I love. Had some in my old 1923 house!! I miss it beyond measure!! I even had the original apron sink!! Don't see those anymore! Love all the depression glass! So classy! Blend's in with anything. Amazing to me how much older pieces are available there! Wow! I kept seeing all kinds of items I'd be happy to put in my cart!! I always learn something every one I view! Thank you for sharing! Take care.
I enjoyed the shopping trip with Scott today! I used to go thrifting more often, but I have too many items and no more room! And, I miss going thrifting. I liked the items but really think that lamp was so interesting. You did very well!
I just love your shopping trips!! Loved the eapg and the Hull vase. I'm glad you didn't find any $1.99 egg cartons here!!! LOL!! Thank you, Scott! Congrats on hitting 20k!!!🎊🎉🎊
That lamp is stunning. We’re getting bad storms here in the mountains of North Carolina. Every time hubby or I say it’s a rainy day we have to say it like the woman in that song you play sometimes lol 😂 Stay dry!
Hello Scott this is California calling I love the amber glass to I have several pieces M candles to keep up the good job of selling them they're awesome and so are you have a great weekend your friend Belinda
First yellow and gold glass was designed by Russel Wright. I am the lucky owner of a Tom Collins set of four found years ago at a yard sale. They’re going to the grave with me!
OMGosh - that EAPG vase is gorgeous!! I was expecting the lamp to have a tole painted finish - what a surprise to see chrome. Another fabulous piece. I’d put a glass of water in the McCoy jug and put fresh flowers in it. Thanks for taking us with you.
Loved the video of the ride to the next shop with the music playing. At the 15:48 point in the video there was a lady wearing a blue dress that could have been from the 1940s/1950s. What fun. I liked this format. You definitely saved the best for last with the lamp. I love when something is complete and you don't have to search for replacements if you could find them at all. I know it has slight pitting still, but it has all the shades, which would be impossible to find, and no dents or other damage. Isn't it fun when you find that one thing that's really special like that?! Thank you for another fun video!
Ta very muchly,🙏🏼 I see those cottage teapots a lot here in England🇬🇧 but not my cuppa tea, I like to collect all the clear cut crystal and depression glass which is cheap, and if I see the green glass i have to buy it especially if it’s glows 💚 fab chrome lamp you restored , your a real master and specially skilled 👏🏼✌🏻❤️💫
50 of us have plans to travel to Philadelphia and flapper line dance in front of your building. Not gonna’ tell you the date though. Yes, we will be accompanied by a film crew. Be on the lookout. Surprise! LOL. These are wonderful trips. Thanks.
I once saw Shirley Temple interviewed on television, and she told of how people would send to her the milk pitchers and cereal bowls with her image on it, thinking she would like to have them. Miss Temple said she loved blue glass, and liked to decorate her kitchen with it. So she would run the pieces through the dishwasher a number of times, until the images finally wore off. Mpls. 👑
Going back to that first orphan glass...I'd think picking up eclectic pieces of a similar style would be very appealing to certain folks. I remember a magazine article with Polly Bergen saying she always set her formal table with an eclectic mix, on purpose! Looked great! You could revive that example!---I liked this format today! I'd vote to do it more often.
What a great haul! I loved huge EPG vase. I wouldn't d fresh flowers in it and risk water marks. But picture it with some paper Easter grass in it and some lovely decorated eggs. Perhaps an small, antique bunny. Sit that on a buffet table. Just what I would do. Many, many lovely items and topped off with that wonderful lamp. So enjoyable.
I love your energy and enthusiasm and love of all things old. Thank you for all you do to entertain us ❤️ I would’ve loved to been able to get that chrome lamp. 😍
That was such a fun trip Thriftin with you scott!! Please show us a before picture of the chrome lamp because it looks beautiful please show us what it look like before you took two hours to shine it up. Thank you for rescuing it and not discarding it if you still had a little crack💚 I also love the tea pot cottage💚
I love McCoy even with a crack. The first piece of older pottery I bought was a cracked a Hull vase that I felt sorry for. It remains one of my favorites
I don’t know what you did in your past life but you were born to be a teacher. We all learn so much from you and the knowledge keeps coming. Besides a great knowledge of antiques and glass, you are the most entertaining you tuber I follow and you remain my favorite. Always get excited when I see a new video. Keep up the great work.

What a fun “Drive, Stop & Shop Then Ruminate” visit today at the OCS…Really like this format! The amber console bowl will really come to life in the fall with a few red delicious 🍎s. Perfect climax to this video with the sensational lamp find…Absolutely stunning to say the least.
i like this style of shop then sit and discuss the items continually through this episode. the change is good but also like kitchen counter thrift hauls.
Childhood memory: Each Sunday morning Mass was followed by lunch at home and then watching Shirley Temple movies. Tap dancing was my favorite! Loved the McCoy pitcher. Not related to video - but I've been enjoying the new Ken Burns film on Benjamin Franklin and then remembered when Vinnie, Dee, Tammy and David visited you. You took them to Market Street and other famous locations - it looked so interesting. A lot of history in Philly :)

Oh my word thank you so very much.
Amen.
When the Gazelle jumped into the 1950's, it became an Impala. Especially with the 1958 release of the Chevrolet Impala.
Live it when you do not edit. Hanging out at the trift store with you is a blast & ALWAYS INFORMATIVE ‼️
I have my Mom's Shirley Temple tiny pitcher from her youth. It's PRICELESS to me!
The EAPG vase is actually made by the Imperial Glass Company circa
1912 and is in the zippered heart pattern. Just lovely.
Yes, it is quite the lovely vase!
Zippered Heart, I can see it now, kool! I was trying to find the pattern by it's hobstar medallion.☺️
I like this format very much....that lamp is stunning.
Thanks for taking us on a longer thrifting adventure. I do like the back and forth format. The gazelle vase and the lamp are my favorite pieces from your haul.

My goodness Scott.. the bronze lamp is spectacular! Yes the McCoy is a nice spring color. 💕
The EAPG piece was awesome! I am always so distracted by the magnificent lamp and shade behind your chair ....... I just want it!!!!!!. Thanks Scott
