I have a 1930's Craftsman house. On line I found a green/cream stove, marbled feet, it has art-deco markings on it. It was in St. Paul, MN, went out of state to get it. Paid $100. I was on a roll, had to get a porcelain enamel table & 4 chairs, $100 took 8 mos to find it in Winona, MN, another 2 mos to find my 1935 Frigidaire $100, in WI. I already have a authentic Hoosier cabinet for $450. Everyone loves my kitchen and says it's a step back in time!
I so agree about funeral costs. I’ll be gone and none of that matters. Have a party with that money and order extra desserts. I’ll be in a heavenly place and it won’t matter to me!! Thank you for the beautiful ride through the countryside. I enjoy your personality and so enjoy your choices in music.
Scott, I had a cream & green gas stove from the ?30s for several yrs when I lived in Philly near the old Medical College of Pa. hospital. I used it as a piece of furniture & I even brought it to my apt. here in Lancaster county & used it in the same way. It was in beautiful condition; very clean. I even had all the parts of the burners. It had one owner before me & came from a Jersey shore home. If I still had it, I would give it to you. But I donated it to a young couple from church who were redoing their home with antiques. I loved it & always admired the beauty of it. Somewhere I have a picture.
My first reaction: "That is the cutest stove ever!" Love everything about the clock & dials-they caught my eye right away. Really enjoyed this trip with you and Vinny -thanks!
Whenever I go to thrift and antique shops, I find myself humming The Old Curiosity Shop tune. My daughter and granddaughter thinks I'm nuts. Okay I admit it, I am a little 🤪 nuts. 😂
I just love watching you and Vinny. These venues were a little different from your usual so that was fun. Put your mind to rest I bought the hazel atlas s/p from Vinny. They have red tops and not too many out there with red tops. I've seen them for up to 30 for the set. I love supporting Vinny's sales. He loves what he does. Thanks for taking us along.
WOW that stove was the epitome of Art Deco! So disappointed the price was so high. I could just see it in your kitchen. The scenery was absolutely beautiful where Vinny & you were. 💕
I’m enjoying this change of scenery into the countryside with Vinny! This type of video with Vinny, your bungalow renovation, and your usual thrifting videos in the city are a weekly must watch! Good job Scotty! ❤
Watching this has reminded to search out spots like these when it seems thrift stores have little of value to offer. Your stories bring back memories of days gone by. Always enjoy watching!
Love your thrifting and antiquing trips with Vinny. Comforting to watch on a cold day. That old oil burning stove is neat. My grandmother had one, but it was no longer being used in my living memory. It had been moved out to the screened in porch after she got an electric stove. They burned kerosene, but my grandmother called it the coal oil stove. My mother said the whole house smelled like burning kerosene when it was in use!
That stove!!! OMG, the stove of my dreams, and would be wonderful in your kitchen, but that price is crazy. So sad to have to walk away. Keep looking, you'll find yours yet.
Oh Cool!! Those little green dishes with the folk art!! We had one back in the 60’s & mama used it so long most of the people were washed off!! Thanks for the memories!!✌️
Oooooohhhhhhhhhhh, that stove! That was one fancy Doll😉 they sure put a lot of beauty into household items back in the day. Keep looking ,you will find what you are meant to find , I found a 1940s perfection stove that someone had taken out of his Mothers home in the Midwest drove it cross country and parked the van it was in for 25 years before he decided he needed to sell it! I just lucked out on spotting it in an ad for yard sale👍❤🙏
You’re in Crazy Lamb Lady territory now. 😁 I’m so envious. 🥴I so want to move to PA. They have hundreds of Thrift and Antique stores and they all are bursting at the seams with so much awesomeness. You guys found and showed us some awesome things. Thank you! This was great!🥰
Wonderful trip with you both! I really liked the Brown and yellow hand painted floral piece. I was hoping you would bring it home ☺️ Thought Vinny might not clear the top of the door frame.,He’s tall ! ♥️🐩
I guess I have to wait for Part II to see what you bought.---I've never heard of that doll that Vinny showed us.---I reminisced about that Sit-n-Spin on the floor of that first shop you went into.---I'm glad you picked up the refreigerator pitcher, and hope you picked up the luster pitcher...when will you find another one?---Lots of fun places to see...sadly I'll never get there, but oh well. At least I got to watch!
Hi Scott and Vinny . It was nice to see you in my neck of the woods. I see you found good things at one of my favorite flea markets near Mercersburg Pa. You and Vinny will have to come back again.
Hi Scott this video was great really injoying these videos with you and vintage Vinny you both have a great eye for treasures made me laugh when you were riding in the car sheets lol 😂🤣 loved the yellow table you said green Vinny said blue I said would of been nice in red also liked the rabbit napkin holders what a great find always injoy watching take care
The Bunnies, oh my Lord, The B-U-N-N-I-E-S!!! You hit pay dirt with the Doe and Buck Bunnies for a lot of $’s. You are getting prolific with good things you are finding! Congrats!
I learn so much from you, thanks Scott! I collect pitchers and I too would have bought the Westinghouse water pitcher which was very affordable and not something you see every day in Antique/thrift shops.
That art deco Sellers cabinet was amazing! I am looking for a Hoosier cabinet myself. My grandma had one that was built by my grandpa...or so I was told. My cousin ended up with it even though I wanted it so badly. He keeps it in a backroom stacked high with junk! Loved the video! New subscriber!

That green pot would look nice in your kitchen with a pot of parsley in it. That Grand oven is perfect Scott and will clean up fine - negotiate a price!
This may have been your best shopping trip! I liked seeing you pick up the things you sold yesterday during your live sale. That stove! Although it would be a bit much in your new kitchen, you are shooting for a home, not a period piece museum. Hope you do find an enamel table you like. Anchor Hocking Jane Ray in peach luster, hope you bought it.
I love my refrigerator glass. I have a water pitcher but it’s Kelvinator. There are a couple of 1920s gas ranges I know at flea markets where I live. My dream is a Westinghouse range from the 1950s
A friend and I exchange gifts and they can’t cost more than $10 and must be vintage or antique. She gave me something similar to your Brush McCoy leaving the 35 cent price tag on. I treasure it!
I grew up in Murrysville, PA. So much history surrounded my brothers and I. We literally had a supply road to Fort Necessity in our woods behind our house. I miss the rich history of the eastern states. Moved to Oklahoma when I was 13 and although Indian history is interesting, I miss my own ancestry and landmarks. Loved the countryside. The flea market was fun too! 😉
My, word, that first stove would have been a huge undertaking to restore. You were really flying around the mountains it looked like and with snow flurries.
For that price they could have at least cleaned the inside of the stove. I loved the yellow table and chairs but if it had only been blue and nearer to where I live. I'm like you Scott, I will keep looking til I find the right one.
The cranberry enameled bowl is English Hand Blown Glass made by Stevens & Williams. The feet are designed after thorn branches. That bowl would be valued about $150.00 to $200.00. They didn't make a large quantity of the footed bowls. S&W was mostly known for their beautiful epergnes, floral vases and brides bowls.
I totally agree with you on the funeral arrangements when I made arrangements for my brother I told the gentleman if he seen my kids come in here after I died to please throw them out lo. I told my children do not spend any money on a funerals for me they are very much a waste of money And to be honest with you so our weddings LOL
You two are an adorable couple. ❤️ I’m glad you found each other.
Pennsylvania is so beautiful.
You two are very fun! Thank you for showing us your part of the country.
I like those green outdoor chairs ..lol

I love the yellow table. 💛 also loved the beach babes. ⛱
I totally agree on funerals being a huge waste of money. Thanks for taking us along!
I was thinking...you put a back on that corner coffin salesman sample...you gotta cheap urn. That was a bit crude....🤔

Mine was much much nicer than the one you found. totally clean, hardly used. I only paid $200. for mine. I am going to search for that picture.
Beautiful country roads

WOW that stove was the epitome of Art Deco! So disappointed the price was so high. I could just see it in your kitchen. The scenery was absolutely beautiful where Vinny & you were. 💕

That might be a small pitcher for cereal. Beautiful green pot!
That oil stove’s oven looked like the one the witch shoved Hansel and Gretel into. LOL.
You found my Grandma’s kitchen table and chairs! It’s really in great condition! If I was there it would come home with me. 😊 Kathleen
Oooh, the green & cream stove *is* nice...that price, though! 😲 So fun shopping with y'all! ❤

Really. And have a Pie in the oven! 😂

Hey Scott - glad to see you repaired your ring 😂 - that initial was gone!!
I just love your videos and I love your new videos with your house and I specially like your videos when you show the scenery so wonderfully beautiful
I love 🥰 old folding chairs. The fan is (fan)tastic. I love 🥰 it.
Love the ride through PA my favorite place!
Hi Scott and Vinny . It was nice to see you in my neck of the woods. I see you found good things at one of my favorite flea markets near Mercersburg Pa. You and Vinny will have to come back again.
So cool that you found the 1930's advert for the bunnies 🐰
Loved that Czech planter with the rose and honeycomb pattern.

That milk pitcher in the peach was really cute.
I was living in a home built in 1912 and I found a 1920 stove that was name Good luck , I love that stove I still miss it .
Wonderful adventure guys. Thanks for taking us along. My daughter went to school in Lancaster and loved sheets better than Wawa.

Hi Gypsy and thank you!!!!!!!!
I live 20 minutes away from Gettysburg! Love the cows and horses and farms. Moved here last month from a crowded city in NJ.
I agree with you about don’t spend money on me when I die. I told my daughter just do whatever is cheap.
As you may have already discovered, that lustre creamer is Royal Lustre, 1976 only and yes, there was a matching sugar and other dinnerware.
Daniel can you give me a reference? I have not seen any matching creamer or dinnerware so I'd love to learn more. And it was only made in 1976?

Looked like a great trip. Thanks for taking us along!
Scott this refrigerator would look great in your kitchen Wow !
That green pot would look nice in your kitchen with a pot of parsley in it.
That Grand oven is perfect Scott and will clean up fine - negotiate a price!
Oh, that stove was just perfect for your home! Darn that price and that it needed so much work!
That was a fantastic stove. I’m looking for a stove too but that’s to far for me. I hope you had an awesome day with Vinny
Fun stuff, new to your channel & catching up on all your videos. Two thumbs up for your comments about the funeral traditions!
Love the 20s and 30s . Most of my collection comes from family.
The prices weren't too terribly expensive. OMG loved that footed bowl with the cherries! Pretty cool place.
You'd have loved this place Dee. Come see me in MD and I'll gladly take you there.
Hi Scott and Vinny love the video 🤩 hope you are having fun 🙂 keep safe and enjoy. Happy thrifting

Not Jane Ray, Royal Lustre from 1976.
I would kill for that yellow table and chairs😮
I love the places you went to. So much great stuff to look through. That stove must’ve been something in its day, huh? ❤️😊
beautiful area....looks a lot like western WA state...love those mixin bowls...i have a set mint
I looooove that yellow dinette set! Saw a lot of great stuff in this video. You eat very healthy. I would have gotten a Snickers bar. 😆
Vinnie sounds like the dad on this road trip and Scott the child, are we there yet? (Excited and full of questions.) 🙂🙂🙂 Loved the scenic drive.
🤣🤣
Jadeite shakers!! Vintage or reproduced. Lids or no lids. I am getting them and for that price!!! WOW!!!💚💚
Beautiful places and nice shop along trip
One is a creamer and the wide mouth one is a gravy boat.

On my hubbys account - I know what town-lol. Hadn’t been there in awhile , we usually go in the wintertime.
I remember my oldest brother playing with Lincoln logs
My first guess for the name of the doll was Shelly Winters. 🤩
My, word, that first stove would have been a huge undertaking to restore. You were really flying around the mountains it looked like and with snow flurries.
Casket sample..now I have seen it all...
I think that larger peach luster pitcher was intended to be for milk for cereal or oatmeal milk.
32:41 That yellow dinette set!!!!!!!

I agree on both counts Weddings are the frock and the day.
Hey Good eye on that dollhouse furniture! I have that little table & chairs & they Ain’t antique! Dollar tree (possibly) ✌️
Oil burning stoves can easily be converted to a gas stove. That was really nice.
Fun trip. A little cluttered for looking.🤔
That's how you find the best stuff is by digging.
🥦 that was fun!
Scott, I picture you as a kid asking your parents "are we there yet" 😊
No linens, kitchen ware (hopefully jadeware), kitchen table and comfortable chairs. Keep looking!
I have a wash stand very similar to the one that you showed.
Yea I was thinking Mccoy too
We had that yellow table in the 60s. Chairs were different.
The green vase/urn is from Brush-McCoy 1930-1933 New Art Vellum. Sanfords Guide to Brush-McCoy Pottery, vol. 1, p. 85.
Yes thank you. I looked it up after later that day and actually sold it last night in a live sale. Just a lovely pot!
