I just realized what your doing. Sharing the grocery shopping, going for a walk in the city. You’re reaching out to those who may be struggling in these very difficult times. Reminds me once again of your love, compassion and empathy for others. You are an angel 👼🏻!
Thanks for taking the time to share with us your everyday adventures. It is so nice, the distraction from what is really going on.Thanks as always for being our driver and tour guide.
I just loved the day in the life. Boy oh boy are those building architect beautiful 😍. And the music choices were pretty awesome. I would love to see more like this
Thank you for another of what I call my ‘sanity’ videos. I suffer from chronic pain, anxiety and depression and your videos relax and calm me. You do more for so many than you’ll ever know. God Bless you Scott-you’re truly awesome ☺️
Scott I loved that you filmed in Aldi😃 it was fun .thank you. And in the beginning of your video as your driving I noticed the sky looked like it had a face made by the clouds looking down at everything❤️
Was fun tooling around town with you. LoVe seeing all the old buildings in Philly. If walls could speak oh the stories they would tell! Nice book ends. I hear you on the quick pre made foods when it's just one person. Have a relaxing weekend, stay warm brrrr just think only about 10 more weeks until Spring!
Thank you for taking us with you and sharing part of your life with us. Loved the video. Loved the drive looking at all the buildings. Can't wait for the next trip. As always your amazing.
I had a great day today, shopping, going on a little road trip, and checking out your bookends, I like bookends also. Have a great day Scott, see you next time....❤👍
oh! to be young again. to come and go as you please, despite the weather and time of day. to do just what you want, when you want. to be so disciplined; to be your own boss; to own your own business. to come from such a lovely family. to be so gifted and so talented. you are a man among men, Scott! thanks for sharing part of your day with us. take care! God bless you and yours.
I live the country life on 7 acres in New Mexico. The closest grocery store is about 5 miles away and the the town where we do most of our shopping is about 15 miles away . Thanks for showing us around your neighborhood.
This may have been a mundane day for you, but for those of us who are staying home and just picking up groceries, not even going into a store, this was a welcome video. Driving the streets of Philly with you felt like a mini vacation. I enjoyed seeing the renovated hotel and newly constructed Aldi. Thank you.
Hello Scott, thanks for taking all us viewers with you on your drive to Aldi, followed by the drive to the thrift store. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the interesting buildings, neighborhoods, streets (some with trolley tracks), etc. I love to go for drives (even if it is only a relatively short distance) to see different neighborhoods, different landscapes/terrain, different places, different ethnic supermarkets, different businesses. It was also nice to see inside your new Aldi. This past summer, Aldi opened a store about a five-minute drive from my home. Aldi is a great place to shop for groceries, and since the store is not as big as some other major supermarkets, Aldi is easier and faster to shop there. (I must confess -- I like Aldi even more than I like Trader Joe's, which is owned by Aldi.) Have a great weekend, and give Salem an extra head scratch for me. He's such a good old boy.
Elevator ride, so 1960 Sci fi music, same with half the ride. Those old movies and shows that had that music, expected a UFO to show up etc. 😂😂 Then music changes and it was like 1940's, I was expecting dancers were going to show up. Fred Astaire with his cane and top hat. Well done sir. I just love old architectural buildings, there's nothing like them, so regal with so much history to be told.
I loved this! I appreciate the effort you make to keep us entertained with a variety of video material! I have a girlfriend who grew up in Philly; I'll be showing her this video and am sure she'll love seeing her old stomping grounds. You are so fun to be with :-)
That was fun. Did you know that Aldi and Trader Joe's are related? The German Albrecht Brothers started Aldi (short for Albrecht Discount) from their Mom's family store after WWII then split into two chains when one brother wanted to sell cigarettes and the other didn't.One took North Germany, the other took the south. The family later acquired Trader Joe's. There's a lot more detail than that, but an interesting story.
Thanks, Scott for the ride, I love the old buildings I can only imagine what it was like back then ,sad that they wont to take down history. Same goes for old houses. Our Aldies here doesn't have buggies and you have to bring your own bags ,ours is very small.this was a most enjoyable day.better for you to drive than me I can see more. This was nice.
Not that grocery shopping is interesting...but somehow you've made it interesting lol. You are so good at this. I think that's why I look forward to a daily "Scott Program" lol No pressure but I'm getting used to turning on RUclips and finding something from you ❣ You've become part of our daily lives and I for one appreciate you. Thanks Scott. God bless be well
Hi Scott, I recently stumbled across your youtube channel and I just love your content, personality and humor. I started an ebay store back in March when I was laid off work due to Covid. It was something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I pretty much sell whatever I think will make a profit at this point, but like you....I adore the Art Deco Era! As a young girl I accompanied my parents to estate sales, flea markets, yard sales and thrift shops! I loved it! My love of Local history and thrifting was put on hold for a long time due to college, marriage and family (and happily so) . I am now 58 and am partially retired and am excitedly revisiting my love of the past. I started an ebay store about 9 mos ago and love the thrill of thrift! I could go on and on and on. I guess I just want to say....I love your love of the past and love your youtube content and enjoy your personality! Thanks for sharing your wealth of vintage knowledge!!!
Enjoying this so much - I’m so missing America right now. My son lives in the States and I haven’t seen him since last January. Loving watching the shopping and thrifting. All the best Scott from the UK 🇬🇧.
I enjoyed every city❤️ minute of this! I find grocery stores extremely appealing from this type of perspective. They are so clean, organized and colorful- all the things I hope to achieve one day. 🤣I think the bookends are great as is. After all Dante went through, I'm sure his cloak wasn't as fresh as at the start. 😊💕
Scott......absolutely love these adventures in the city. Please do more just like this one. The new ALDI is amazing. I am a single guy too and we buy pretty much the same thing. It makes me appreciate just driving into most suburban parking lots at ground level here in Saint Louis and walking into the market.
Morning! I must say no matter how bad my day has been , after i watch your videos i feel relaxed, happy , and smiling( no matter bow mundane). I also enjoyed the drive along....love looking at old architecture. Thanks for sharing and happy weekend❤

Well that was fun! Felt like I spent the whole day with you! With things not great in my area it was nice to "get out" for awhile, lol. Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed our trip through Philadelphia. The variety of background music choices was exciting and fun. As a bookend collector, I, of course, was keenly focused on your bookend find. I would not do anything to them because the wear has become part of their appeal.
I found your channel a few days ago, you are the best love your style of filming love your music you have found a loyal follower.I have been thrifting for about 40 years and in a few videos you showed me quite a bit of information thank you
I’m telling you it costs more money to buy the ingredients for your salads then to buy them ready to eat. That was my wise words for the day... You did good
