I ordered mine with 19” for comfort and potholes. The 20” aero design might be a good in between option.

These cars should come with 16inch rims, at least in Michigan the roads are horrendous. If they want to produce real cars, they have to be versatile in all conditions.

I don’t know why so many manufacturers insist on putting such huge wheels on cars, it’s just silly. Oh well, at least you can spec smaller ones on this car! Thanks for the work.

Because bigger wheels looks better and sportier. Smaller wheels give the car tires a more donut look, like a car for someone that really lived.

      You’re obviously not a car enthusiast…..

The 19" wheels that are standard are kind of a must so they can fit big enough brakes, which are necessary due to the weight and performance of the car. The brakes have to be able to stop it even if the regeneration braking fails.

@@Manakuski Sure, 19s are totally fine, its the silly 21 and 22 inch wheels with rubber band tires that I object to.

My dream car, no joke. I seriously love this vehicle, specifically the i5/ev variant

You should have tested the car with the assistance plus package, which would have allowed you to keep the hands totally off the steering wheel as well as auto overtaking.

It's a capacitive steering wheel so no need for Tesla-esque yanking. In my experience, I can rest two fingers on the bottom of the wheel with my left hand and it never complains about keeping hands on the wheel.

Could you find A subaru Crosstrek Hybrid.
No body has done a proper fuel test on one.
Surprising considering they sold like 90,000 of them in Canada, and somewhere round 35,000 US

You sacrifice range with the WIDER tires not with the bigger wheels !

The larger wheels are often less aerodynamic
