In the midst of an escalating war in Earth's orbit, a regular passenger liner gets caught in the battle between the AEUG and the Titans. 15-year-old Asagi Briggs and her 10-year-old brother Takuya are left stranded on their ship as it plunges into the atmosphere. Despite being in a dire situation, a glimmer of hope emerges when a single mobile suit, the Z Gundam III, appears to rescue them.
