- The GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam is a prototype stealth Mobile Suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It is piloted by Nicol Amalfi.
The GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam is developed for the purpose of conducting surprise attacks deep behind enemy lines. It is the only unit among the five prototypes created under the Alliance's G Project to use the X200 series frame that is designed to support special systems. In this case, the Mirage Colloid Stealth System that renders Blitz invisible to both sensors and the naked eye. The suit is painted mainly black to enhance the effectiveness of the stealth system and is fitted with other systems to ensure the silent operation of internal mechanisms and systems, as well as to control the heat dissipation while cloaked. Like the other four units, Blitz is also equipped with Phase Shift armor system, but unlike them, it does not have any built-in weaponry like the CIWS. Its armament are all arm-mounted and consists of a grappling claw and an offensive shield system, which mounts both melee and range, beam as well as non-beam weapons.

I said this before, and I'll say it again: I really hated how the remake tried to make Kira "faultless" with regards to Nicol's death by making Nicol "accidentally" run into the blade. The original was perfect already: Kira instinctively reacted to the approaching Blitz by dodging and counter attacking: no one will (or rather, SHOULD) fault Kira for defending himself. I know some people say: but Kira didnt need to be too brutal since Nicol's Lancer Dart couldnt even hope to penetrate the PS Armor. That IS true, but Kira didnt have time to assess the situation given how close the Blitz decloaked to him: he only had time to react. In his mind, its either him (Nicol) or me.
Even his reaction right after (where he stared at his hands in disbelief of killing someone) is reasonable. While he didnt know Nicol, he knew these pilots were the friend of his friend... so his guilt eating him for killing one of them isnt too farfetched. Hearing tha blood curdling scream also helped tack some more guilt on him.
So yea, I prefer the original scene way more than the remake.
If I'm remembering right, Natarle congratulated him for finally killing one of them when he returned. That scene mixes better with the original since he actually moved to counterattack and accidentally killed Nicol.
I still agree with this from this perspective, and i think you’ve got some very good points - however, I recently saw a quote from one of the people in charge of the new animation/direction of the remasters, and he explained their reasoning for changing the scene like that. It was less to make Kira faultless, and moreso to portray it more clearly as Nicol sacrificing himself to let Athrun escape. Apparently, Nicol knew that his attack couldn’t really hurt the Strike in any way, but it was just to buy time; he had no intention of surviving to start with. I’ll try and find the link to the interview when I can, but with that in perspective, I like both interpretations of the scene, even if I still prefer the original
ニコルの最期は、「対艦刀が偶然当たってしまった」という感じの描写よりも、放送当時のキラの方から斬りに行った描写の方が好きだったな
「戦いたくない」と「平和がいい」と心から思っていても、いざ不意打ちを喰らって命の危機に迫られると、反射的に斬ってしまう
そっちの方が、「人の業」を表現できているように感じていた
僕もあのシーンは改悪と思っています。
ニコルの事故死はあまりに滑稽だし、反射的にキラが斬ってしまった方が余程自然で戦場で唐突に命が無くなる無情さを表現できていると思います。

どうでもいいけど、キラのゲタを破壊したり敵機を叩き落としてそのまま乗る戦闘スタイルが好きすぎる。
確かに誰が見ても遠距離専ガンダムで突っ込んで取り憑こうとするニキに比べればそらニコルは臆病者だわな
事故死、犬死、回想で何回も流される死亡シーン。これに帳尻合わせに首チョンパされたトールも含めて最も不遇なキャラ

やはりニコルはこの声がいい
初期GATで最も早く退場した機体として、そしてアスランとキラとの間に未だに癒えぬ傷を生んでしまった事でもあまりにも有名な哀しき名機。
因みに劇中で斬り落とされしまった右腕は外伝作品の「アストレイ」でゴールドフレーム天に移植されてます。
本機の最期の場面。TV版とDR版と大きく異なるけど、DR版はやっぱり不自然過ぎる。何故改変した？普通に見てもニコルが突っ込み過ぎて自滅したようにしか見えないな…。

GAT-X207 블리츠는 지구연합 과 오브의 모르겐뢰테가 합작해서 제작한 모빌슈트로 이 모빌슈트의 특징은 침투가 가능하며 여기서 블리츠의 이름의 블리츠는 독일어로 번개란 뜻으로 여기서 파생된 영어 단어인 블리츠는 기습을 뜻한다.말 그대로 기습 공격에 특화된 기체이기 때문에 단독 활동은 물론 적진에 침투할수 있다.
이 기체의 특수 능력은 은폐로 이 기체에는 미라쥬 콜로이드를 이용하여 은폐할수 있다.특이한 점은 다른 기쳬는 X-100 넘버를 쓰지만 블리츠만 X-200 넘버를 쓰는데 그 이유는 미라쥬 콜로이드 와 공순 시스템인 트리케로가 탑제 및 적용 되어 있기 때문에 블리츠만 X-200 프레임을 사용하고 있다.그 두번째가 X252 포비든이 있다.근데 얘도 미라쥬 콜로이드를 사용하지만 은폐가 아닌 방어용으로 쓰이고 있다.
블리츠의 장비는 이렇다.
3연장 초고속 운동체 관통탄 "랜서 다트"
50mm 레이저 라이플(랜서 다트와 내장되어 있음)
광선검(레이저 라이플에 내장됨)
피어서 록 "글레이프니르"
이렇게 무장하고 있다.하지만 블리츠는 다른 기체들과 달리 건담 헤드에 CIWS가 무장되어 있지 않는데 그 이유는 침투 목적으로 개발되었기 때문에 대공 발칸포인 이겔슈테른이 장착되어 있지 않다.이게 장착되어 있었으면 발칸포 를 쏜 후 은폐해도 그 열이 그대로 머리에 남아있기 때문에 발각 당하기 쉽기 때문이다.
블리츠의 치명적인 약점은 바로 미라쥬 콜로이드 즉 은폐 기능인데 이게 이지스 나 버스터 보다 에너지 소모가 더럽게 심하며 PS 장갑까지 더하면 에너지 소모량이 더더욱 심해진다.그래서 블리츠만 은폐 상태가 되면 방어력이 급격히 떨어지는 단점이 있다.원래 미라쥬 콜로이드는 지구연합이 만든것이기 때문에 지구연합도 바보가 아니기 때문에 이미 인지하고 있다.게다가 무장 또한 전부 오른팔에 집중되어 있어서 왼손이 급격히 취약해진다.이지스 나 버스터 처럼 보조 장비가 아예 없기 때문에 항상 피해다시면서 치고 빠지는 게릴라 전술을 쓸 방법 말고는 없지만 자프트가 애초에 정규군이 아닌 민병대인데다 신 기술을 탈취해도 그걸 잘 응용하지 않고 그냥 기체빨로 밀어 붙히는 경우가 많다.
게다가 블리츠의 특성만 잘 알면 대응하기 쉬운데 그냥 저기 블리츠가 있겠지 싶은 자리에 끼얹는 식으로 상대방이 대응을 시작하면 페이즈 시프트 장갑도 발동하지 못하는 은신 상태의 블리츠는 진짜로 위험해진다. 니콜이 미라쥬 콜로이드를 가동시키자 나탈은 얼굴색 하나 안변하고 "블리츠의 기영이 사라진 지점에 화망을 펼쳐라!"고 지시하여 아크엔젤이 빔 확산 폭뢰로 방어막을 치고서 이겔슈테른의 자동추적 시스템을 끄고 무차별 난사해 화망을 펼치자 니콜은 미라쥬 콜로이드를 해제하고 물러나야 했다.
만약 테란과 상대하게 되면 그냥 상대하지 말고 도망칠수밖에 없다.왜냐하면 테란은 탐지 기능 병기가 두대가 있는데 하나는 민간 선박이자 수리선인 과학선 과 무인기 밤 까마귀가 있으며 은폐 기술 과 탐지 기술 또한 테란이 재일 뛰어나기 때문에 미라쥬 콜로이드 또한 금세 간파할수 있다.게다가 유령 요원이 사용한 결박 즉 잠금 미사일을 사용한다면 그대로 생포 당할수도 있다.저그라면 그냥 상대하지말고 그냥 도망쳐라 왜냐하면 여왕의 기생충을 심어 놓으면 그대로 시야가 공유 당할수도 있고 역으로 감염 당하여 감염된 블리츠로 활용될수도 있다.프로토스라면 아예 상대하지 말자 얘네들은 중재자 와 모선이 있는데다 은폐장을 활성화 하면 황금함대에게 바로 개털릴수있다.
그래서인지 대함대전에서 아크엔젤에게는 그닥 활약이 없으며 사실 이는 당연하다면 당연한 게 아크엔젤은 원래 이 기체를 직접 운용할 것을 상정하고 제조된 함선이기 때문에 니콜은 그것도 모르고 상대해야 했다.
그러나 블리츠에게도 치명적인 약점이 하나 더 있는데 바로 대기권에서는 비행이 아예 안되는것이였는데 그래서 자프트가 개발한 보조형 비행체 굴을 타고 날아갈수밖에 없었다.근데 웃기게도 이 비행체는 키라에게 노휙 당하는 수모를 겪게 되지만 애초에 스트라이크는 대기권 비행이 불가능하지만 에일 장비를 장착하면 대기권 비행도 별 문제없이 활동할수 있다.
역시나 키라에게 왼팔이 작살나버리고 랜서 다트 하나만 들고 가다 공격하던 찰나 키라는 그걸 알아차리고 얼른 피하다가 블리츠는 그대로 소드 스트라이크의 대검 슈베르츠 게벨에 그대로 충돌하여 그대로 니콜은 기체쨰로 산화되어 그대로 작살나고 만다.(구작에서는 반사적으로 카운터 어택을 시전하지만HD 리마스터 버전에서는 블리츠가 자신의 공격을 피하려고 물러나던 소드 스트라이크의 대검에 그대로 돌진한 것처럼 작화가 수정되었다. 사고인 측면이 더 강조한 모양이다.)
就某個意義而言，電擊鋼彈的海市蜃樓不用燃料單純噴氣慢慢進入，沒人打個過他，我沒記錯電擊鋼彈有光束槍，死神鋼彈卻沒有，可打近戰反而是死神鋼彈會贏，大鐮刀不要忽視它阿

皆最強って言うてるけど戦闘する際は全然ミラコロ使ってないんよなぁこの傘破壊の時くらいしかミラコロいかせてないんじゃないか？キラに対して全然使ってなかったしなそれに地上戦は海やったからsfsに乗っとかないと戦闘出来なかったしミラコロ使っても意味がなかったから地形が悪すぎたな

There would be an N Dagger N in the MSV line up of SEED. Im guessing they would build it similar to the Buster in that it has extra power extenders in other parts of its body (i.e the Buster has extra power sources on its knees if im remembering it correct), before Alliance gets the N Jammer Canceller plans. After that, N Dagger Ns would probably be rolled out
It will be funny to see strike fight with only a pair of knifes and ginn machine gun because they forgot to stole the striker pack.
@trollinoakenshield9822 The ZAFT engineers would quickly take notice of the hard points in its body and make an Assault Shroud for the Strike. But it won't be the same as the one on Duel. Whether they would make one all-rounder pack or multiple packs for different roles is my question.

@trollinoakenshield9822 Yeah, they need to return to base for an Assault Shroud and plug conversations. Until then, no guns for Strike. It could borrow 2 swords from Ginns and keep the knives as backup. And we have ourselves a budget Sword Strike...
