I've been a Counting Crows fan for 20 years, and this is up there with my favourite releases of theirs. The production is expansive & clean, the lyrics are a sprawl of nostalgia & freedom.
This is so cool. Adam, your curse is our gift, and for that I’m forever grateful. Eternal artist you are and I wish you health, happiness and the other things we need.

There are some bands that just travel with you your entire life, and this is one of them. Loved them since my uni days with August and Everything After and Recovery the Satellites, through till now, even having my wedding 'dance in' to Accidentally in Love'. Now we have another great collection of songs from Adam and the band.

I want to say thank you to Adam duritz and all the fellas in the band for giving us decades of solid and fantastic music. I am a poet and Adam's lyrics inspire me in my work. Whenever that question is asked if there's anyone in the world you could meet who would it be, my answer is always Adam Duritz. Truly one of my writing muses. Keep up the brilliant work guys!

I, too, have a “similar”mental illness. Adam’s bravery made my mornings brighter and meeting another person makes me feel it’s ok and “we can stay up very very very very LATE”.
They always sooth my bipolar disorder as well. Love y’all let’s keep getting through those days💙
I remember her. I don't remember me. Perfectly describes life for me from like ages 15-30. It flies by. Things we love help keep us grounded all these years later... Like Adam's voice.

What can I say that you all haven't said already. These songs are pure Counting Cows.....Adam and the band never, ever fail to tell a story that puts me in a place where my world stops, my cares disappear and I'm taken to a place I can't describe in words.
I legitimately teared up at Bobby and the Rat Kings. I was expecting it to be my least favourite track, but I had tears running down my face the entire time, I loved it that much.
Thank you guys for putting out new music. It's been a rough couple of years, and it means the world to me to hear you play like this again.

I remember the first time I heard Round Here. I thought the pinnacle of song writing and artistic expression has been reached and I could stop looking. Then I heard Rain King live, then all his other stuff. Thank God he just gets better with age. With Palisades Park to this new album, I’m floored. Just when I think he’s said it all, that he’s sung my life… I remember that I forgot. I hear him tell it, and I’m like, oh yeah , I’m glad one of us remembered.

WOW!! 2 beautiful passages describing identity-/changing for the better, learning Just figure out the reasons why you wanna change, Stumbling and falling during the process. I love it because here, Adam Duritz Doesn’t really provide an answer. All the more powerful because it instill in his audience and every day listeners that it’s OK to have desires, wanting to change, messing up, experience uncertainties-basically it’s ok To be human. I believe Adam is saying it’s OK to be human because hey I’m human.

The music of Counting Crows is perpetually forever in the 1990s and that is a beautiful thing. Even new material written in the last 10 years including this EP. I feel like I've heard this in the mid 90s. Although I know o didn't.

Ohhhhhh the band is literally at its finest... Adam's vocals were clear, powerful- exquisite! The show at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas, where I live, was just exceptional!!! Front row baby...at the edge of the stage...nobody sat in their seats. It was amazing. COVID awoken something in the band, not being able to tour for so long- Adam must have been reflecting a lot. He had 10x the passion that he usually has. And so very grateful for his fans... us. He said it over and over. Dude. Band was REBORN! And I was an appreciative witness to it all. I was drug and drink free but HIGH AS HELL. What a show ❤💯😍💥🙌👏🎼🎵🎶🎤🎸🎹🥁 BRILLIANT

Age 30 or 60 or 85 we are the same person with the same desires and fears and dreams and wishes. We look different but underneath we are still the same. And all of that. And the way Adam puts it and the fact that we all or most of us feel this way is just an overwhelming fact I try to push from my mind. But listening to this song must face. Haunts me

this dessert life has been in my tight 50 soundtack to my life bro since i was a kid growing up in the 90s bro. i live close by where they grew up. they really capture the local east coast sound. the feels associated with living life and growing up around here.
I first heard CC back in 95. I didn't really listen to the radio at that age, but I went to visit my cousin and he was like "check this out" and I've loved them ever since. So many great songs over the years and glad these songs can be added to that list. Great work, guys. Keep it up.

I know Adam commented on Bobby/Rat Kings and referenced The Who inspiration, but I hear clear and definitive Springsteen! It’s Thunder Road, Backstreets and Jungle Land all wrapped into one song.

Adam, your career couldn't have a more perfect narrative arc! Because think about it, from the official release of the song August and Everything After you began incorporating a more sprawling orchestral sound. And of course as we all know that is the title of your guys's first studio album and its the song where you make a slight veer into this style culminating in this glorious medley of sheer perfection!!! A perfect cycle.
