What an interview! Loved it. Adam, you are the best song writer of our time. A story teller. My favorite kind. I Loved your performance/show in Adelaide Australia. Hope you come back soon.
I saw Adam in a small bookstore in the West Village about 20 years ago... I wanted to go up to him & say "I'm really glad you're here, it's nice to have you." But ultimately, I didn't. He seemed like a shy guy who probably reads David Foster Wallace. Love you, man!
Same I went to a concert got star stricken when he was signing hard cdd as bay r we hen it first came out and he was right in front of me and instead of saying thank you I said your a god lol he gave me a look like wtf lol
Adam is just so normal, he doesnt carry a big ego like a lot of lead singers do. He seems just like anyone off the street you could just have a chat with. I like when the musicians stay grounded and are like "hey Im just a normal person like you"...
Be still my heart! Hearing Adam say Palisades Park is the song he's proudest of, just oh wow :) Can't tell you how many times I've said "Alexa, play Counting Crows Plaisades Park" then, "Alexa, repeat please" Lol Lord there is a part where his voice is so vulnerable, the whole song is perfection. Thank you for writing it Adam :) Also, there is never a time I come to RUclips that it isn't one of the half dozen they have que'd up for you, frequent flyers it would be considered :)
Adam duritz ...never thought about him just how deep my jam was with this 29 years ago at thirteen. I thank him for not keeping his music to his self.. I can't name any other sound that makes this world disappear and ...this is the first band I have ever loved,
Firstly it's a law you have to wear the band T-Shirt you're seeing if you have one preferably from the last tour, Wearing the one you just paid $50 for is something I would never do. secondly most bands Adam likes I hate, except Cracker, Camper van and that one album from Dashboard (Which I Have 2 Copies of). I don't think there is a thirdly. Ok I'm at home now so thirdly, Redo the albums - they shouldn't sound the same as the Originals, They need that Time Stamp on them, So many bands have done this Mostly Live - the Cure said they had to learn songs they only ever played while recording them - you did the AAEA live at Town Hall Not sure what more can be gained from redoing them - but I'll still buy them. Bowie abandoned the "Toy" Project then he died, and they needed to cash in on it but the old songs he redid are awful they sound old and boring hence the reluctance to release it.

Great questions, and honest calm answers from Adam. Who would think he is the powerful force behind the Counting Crows. One of my favorite bands. ❤

Super Fan of CC as well, and this is the best interview I’ve seen with Adam. Really enjoyed it, thank you.

Love this so much! Seeing Bobby meet Adam was incredible. Would have watched another 45 minutes. Seeing CC this summer and can’t wait!

Shrek discussion 36:00
I would like Adam to consider singing "Beth"...I am sure it would be amazing from his voice..🧡
Great idea.
Man, Duritz looks so different now. Looks like he’s tryin to frame ZeroCool and his friends for the DaVinci Hack
In your Mount Rushmore theres place for Letterman and Stern? Jeez!!
Lol
He went back packing in Europe just like in American Werewolf in London.
I kinda liked "round here."
I still cant understand why Mike Nelson of MST3K was always kinda insulting of Adam.
I was loving this interview till Adam mentioned “Taylor Swift”….🤦 You lost me bro
I know, right?
