Lexus LX570 is the best of all SUV's
You stated at the top of this review that this LX starts at the $90K topping the vaunted Range Rover. One major difference... The LX will not spend nearly any time in the maintenance bay at the local Lexus dealer. The Range Rover is legend for spending much of its life up on a lift at the local Land Rover dealer. Lexus reliability is the best anywhere. The Land Rover brand is among the least dependable vehicles, despite their luxurious accoutrements. This is not a complaint with your review. Just an observation. And, yes, in full disclosure, I'm a long time Lexus owner.
I'm going to call BS on that superior technology statement. Check out the aircraft FV2400-2TC, and tell me whether or not your "ford" can even come close. Lexus/Toyota over engineers their power plants and then tunes them down alot for longevity and reliability. Ford likes to design everthing to within an inch of its life or set life expectancy. I have seen Toyota V8s (UZs, URs) tuned put out 700+ hp on stock internals. Ford stock V8 blocks crack on their own around 500 hp...superior technology....
Razvan J People that can afford these vehicles do not worry about the price of fuel. Relitive to us muggels it just like buying bottled water. Its just you do to keep it running.

your observation is totally wrong and if you are trying to compare a FORD engine to a TOYOTA engine regardless of the amount of unreliable gimmicks on the ECO-Boost you were born defective it's not wholly your fault. Birth defects are common occurrence in your linage country RAZVAN J if not in Europe.
True, I was supplied a loaner Ford Escape with "ecoboost" (fresh frozen?). What a joke, the 1.5 liter engine was screaming the whole time and the gas mileage was not great either. Plus there was no gas cap! How is that eco? there is GOING to be evaporative loss in hot zones.

Would not be able to have this as an everyday SUV. Does very poor on fuel economy. Other than that, it looks decent and is very reliable.

PROS: Luxurious and impeccable interior, rugged off-roading, smooth ride quality!
CONS: No flat-folding rear seats, sluggish V8, mediocre fuel economy.

The fuel range is 369 miles, so does that mean that I can go 369 miles on one tank of gas even though it only get 15 mpg??
Correct. The fuel range is based on the combined rating, so if drove mostly on the highway it would be even higher than that. Thanks for watching!

OK, guys; owned and loved my Lexus LS 400, never any problem, never a complaint. While I don't mind some of their new sharp design, I would have liked it toned down somewhat... for the sake of a great car company! Happy?
