thanks for the video !...love this car ..last day i saw a video about RX ..the guy said the trims mad from plastic and it looks like aluminum " on the steering wheel -doors ..." ..and you said mad from aluminum ..what do think ?..hop that the car got rear wheel and high performance engine..but over all it's nice car !..thanks for introducing this video ! you guys realy do good job !

I can confirm it's silver painted plastic made to simulate metal for sure. Only the radio and tuning knobs are metal. نواف محمد

I thought the Es was the highest selling Lexus model in the States? has the rx overtaken the es now? I don't have worldwide figures though
In the United States the RX has sold 84,624 units this year while the ES has sold only 47,963. It may have been the best-selling Lexus in the past, but now the RX has definitely taken the top spot. Thanks for the comment!

Any difference between the 2016 and 2017 models?
Nothing significant was changed. Atomic Silver is now available, F-Sport's get a standard heated steering wheel and can be had in FWD configurations (previously only AWD) and Lexus Safety System + is now standard on all models.
Kevin McGuire Besides the new color (atomic silver), there is the addition of seat belt monitor (indicates whether rear passengers have seat belts fastened beneath the driver's temp) and rear cross traffic alert has automatic braking now (so when it senses a car approaching, it will automatically brake when no action is taken).
Pretty sure the base RX doesn't come with roof rails.

Yeah dude..believe it or not I’ve been in other competitors interiors before and I tell u Lexus do have some of the best interiors no lie..lots of them screaming luxury but there interiors looks crappy

Light colored carpets for the floor seems like a bad idea...I wonder if Lexus provides black or light grey floor mats for that interior.

I like the front grill it look like angler fish mouth
I know to each his own...and for me this is Ugly. Front looks like aimless rebel teen then matured elegance. With all the excessive the edges it looks gaudy. This is the new trend.... All the auto makers are in a mad rush to bring out the most swoopy/edgy cars. The down side is significantly reduced outward visibility. I test drove this and you feel claustrophobic sitting inside...but hey you will look cool from outside i guess ! Also rear passengers will very likely hit their head in the pillar while getting out from rear if you forget to bend your head thanks to the swooping pillar. I think the only other vehicle that outdoes RX's gaudiness is the new Nissan Murano.
I opted for Subi Fozzy which i know is not in the same luxury league and has "boring" design but boy you fee like in a fish bowl with excellent visibility. And its just oozes practicality with one of the best AWD systems available. This is all something that is lost on the Millennial Generation of today..
Serious what design engineers came up with the this awful exterior front end on all the Lexuses? Great quality cars, but hideous that I would never buy one.
