I love my LX570! A few things you missed though. The suspension is hydraulic not air. It's more reliable than air. There is a button on the dash under the steering wheel that drops the car down for easy entry and exit. Look for the symbol with the man and a half moon around it. Once invoked After that whenever you turn off the car, before exiting, it will drop the car to its lowest setting allowing for easy entry and exit almost like in a car, not an SUV. For highway driving, at speeds over 55 the car will drop automatically for better grip and stability. The Range Rover is the only other SUV that I know that has this feature. Hands free lift gate comes on the key fob. You don't have to push a button on the lift gate to open. You do have to pull the lever to drop the lower part though. I like the two part gate since I use it at parties / tailgating to sit on or to put on my golf shoes, etc. The Bentley gives you this feature as a (last time I checked) $7000 option. Last, gas mileage isn't the greatest, but you're driving a three (3) ton vehicle! None of the other SUV's weight this much or are as sturdy as you say in your review. I'll pay for extra gas for it. Also, your test model didn't come with the back seat DVD entertainment system. It's moveable now so even if the front seat passenger reclines the back of the seat you can get a good viewing angle. BTW, the seats in the back also recline...in both the second and third rows. Don't forget the Lexus reliability. That's for real. My regular scheduled maintenance at Lexus averages $200 or less. Can you do that with the other cars? When watching the news, note that in the more desolate environments they're always driving either LC's or LX's not Rovers, BMW's, or MB. Try to get your turbo charger fixed in the desert! The V8 is tried and true and doesn't break. As for full glass tops, most people I see driving them, at least in the south, keep the shade closed because it's too hot otherwise. Why pay extra for it? Luxury and fit and finish abound throughout the Vehicle. I'll keep my LX and let the naysayers drive and pay for the others. You've of course heard the standing joke. When you buy a Rover, you should buy two. One to drive and one for the shop. Lol
Good review guys, it's HYDRAULIC suspension - not air. Its the AHC system which is very reliable as it uses oil, and is proven in the Land cruiser 100 series and beyond - I have one myself and can confirm this. Cheers.
I recently bought a fully loaded 2020 lx 570 and had it imported from Japan to California. The car is amazing 👏 and they said it'll last 20 years if well maintained. Lots of features to read up on in the manual though.
Respect. I like just about everything Lexus is doing these days. I wouldn’t mind a redesign, but tbh I’m scared of them turning it into garbage. Same concerns for next Escalade, although the cheap interior material they use may have done that already, pre redesign. I’ve also just realized how much I dislike having to “rent” a feature like remote start. As much as this thing costs, Lexus should be ashamed of themselves for doing that.

That is true but I’m talking about the vehicle as a whole not just cosmetically. Which is why so many people are buying used versions & modifying them for the off-road capabilities of this class & lower-even Lexus has gotten on board with this in their most recent campaign. Mercedes, Audi, Land Rover, & even Porsche do more “refreshing” & if Porsche is capable of modifying as much as they do, but without losing their customers than Lexus should also be able to step up tech wise too. That’s my point, for $100,000 there needs to be more of a wow/luxury factor. This just looks like it rolled off the GM line, but even they’re more modern/high tech now.
