I also apologise for my irregular uploading over the last month. I had two people close to me pass away, and have been in a weird place. I'm trying my hardest to sort out everything out, and not bring it to public places, so its been tough to film.
The 7 videos I had pre-filmed and edited were lost due to the fact my computer decided to throw a tantrum, and delete every file, and of course, I hadn't done a back up in over a month.

omg I've never heard someone call this "goth mom" hair before! so cute. my best friend's mom is goth and she wore her hair like this all the time when we were kids. she still does sometimes.
I loved this, i'll try to do it on myself, i don't think that would work though, because i don't have that much hair hahahaha but i loved it!
And also, i'm so sorry for all that you're going through but we all have our struggles, so allow yourself to get through them as long as you wish, but remember: what doesn't kill you always makes you better and stronger!

I did this in public with my usual goth makeup and people kept staring at me and when I opened the door for strangers and stuff they would be like "Does your mother approve of that look?" And in my mind I'm saying 'No I have to hide this all the time because she totally doesn't see it even though she's right behind me,' in a sarcastic voice lol

I used to use this hair style constantly when this video came out. I got so many compliments on it in high school ❤ I had to cut my hair in the past two years to make it easy for me to handle with medical issues. But I’m growing it out now to get back at this hair length for this hair style. ❤
I really liked this tutorial. My hair is really long and I love those kind of buns but I have never thought about using that kind of clip! Before watching your video I even thought about cutting my hair hahaha :3 what a relief!

I've commented before but I'm back again because I'm talking to somebody new and I just want to look nice for our date. I just wanted a refresher on this hairstyle. This is such a good hairstyle because it looks like it took hours but it's just really simple. Not only that, girl, I understand what you mean about the humidity because I live in Florida and especially in the summer, forget it. You can't go outside without your hair messing up. i finally found a tutorial for this hairstyle. My hair is super long (below the butt) and it's hard to find a tutorial that doesn't tease the hair to get volume of some sort. I'm so excited to try this! It seems like it'd also work very well for thin, fine, flat hair that seems impossible to make tidy. I have such shit hair, and it'd really boost my confidence to have a daily hairstyle that works for it (with no teasing or heat styling!!).

I think I'll give this a try, although my hair might not be long enough, but I'll do it anyways! And gurl I feel you on the straightened hair vs humidity. Where I live it's a constant battle to have your hair look nice on humid days.
As a curly haired individual, I can relate. Every time I see you, I'm nostalgic for my black hair days haha! But it doesn't really suit me, it drains my skin rather than compliment it, I definitely suit warmer tones like auburns and gingers.

Long hair issues! My hair is about the same length as yours and I have a hard time doing something nice with my hair without spending an hour or more on it (two young children), but this looks like a great option!

I love it that its tease-free, i hate teasing it and unteasing it, I also am not fond of using curlers and irons, (I keep burning myself!) So basically I would do a half updo or a basic ponytail. But this is wonderful! Thank you💜

Oh that's lovely. .I used to backcomb my hair and you can obviously achieve this look without all the teasing. ..wish I knew this in the late 70's early 80's My hair would have been healthier. ..mind you There was a lot of bleaching and using Crazy Colours back then and there was the huge Mohawk which was pink and blonde (its strange but this sort of ombre thing seems to have become really popular whereas I got looked at as if I had two heads lol!
The moisture comment sent me back to 2008 when I was your typical emo/scene girl. Reminded me of the CONSTANT struggle of having natural curly hair and trying to keep it straight while living in the rainiest state in the US. This place is sooo naturally "goth" but it is not friendly for those of us who sometimes want straight hair 😂

It breaks my heart (that's a bit dramatic! 😉) but as I'm getting older I've had to tone down my make up style.
I can't get away with outlandish makeup like I used to.
I'm 46 years old, and if I was to wear a make up style like yours I find it makes me older looking then I am.
I still wear very pale foundation, and black liquid eye liner, etc, etc - but I find I can't get away with styles that I used to wear.
Also, I don't dye my hair black anymore, because as I'm getting older the black is too harsh against my face. I dyed my hair a dark red for a while, but now I've dyed it a darkest brown.
Getting old sucks, because I still feel young in my head, but get a fright when I look in a mirror. LOL! 😊
Although, otherwise life is really good. I'm really enjoying my 40's to the full! 💜
But, when I see this video I realise how much I miss my old make up style - but it just doesn't look good on me anymore.
So all you young ladies & gentleman, enjoy your youthful good looks while you have them. But, *most* importantly enjoy your life no matter how you look, because *happiness* and *health* is everything! 💜

+Kelly Wilder I couldn't imagine losing my mother, I'm so sorry :( I lost my step-grandmother and my childhood best friend to suicide. The suicide is the one that is the hardest to deal with.
I can't imagine having someone I loved commit suicide. My mom died of COPD and lung cancer, from smoking. It was long and drawn out so I was able to go through the stages of grief "normally" until we finally took her off life support.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I feel for the people who loved your friend. Suicide doesn't stop the pain, it just gives it to others. I don't know your beliefs but I hope your friend is somewhere she knows how you feel about her.

What do you mean you're bad at it? I thought it was beautiful. I like that it's easy. I stay busy so it's hard for me to spend much time on my hair. I thought it looked elegant and gorgeous without much effort. I'm just getting back into the scene after having to stop doing it for a job for a long time. Thankfully I have a boss who's cool now.
