I have super fine hair, lighter than a feather XD But I do the same style, without the front bits. My front bits are just half curly baby hair... :"D
This is a bit late, but i also have super thin hair. To get mine thick, i have clean hair and i add hairspray all in it, brush it through, repeat several times, and it gives me this really grundgy hair with ACTUAL volume and body :)
