ah im glad!! thank you :). i honestly don't do much to my hair, just use leave in conditioner and let it air dry. some days it ends up curlier than other days. i kinda just let it do whatever it wants haha

The messy grungy look that you're trying to achieve with makeup is not something you get with makeup. We literally got this by waking up early and putting on the same face you essentially did. We would lay back down and fall asleep for another hour or so. Wake up and go back to the mirror and do slight fixes so you get that look like you slept in your makeup but you look beautiful when you wake up. I would wake up at 5am to do my makeup. Only the freshman girls wore their makeup like you do until someone told them the trick. That's how you get that tired eye bag effect.
But that’s sooo GROSS and UNHYGIENIC when you can simply achieve this look just smudging your finished makeup look…🫥
Plus you super contradicted yourself saying makeup isn’t needed for this look, yet you have to do your MAKEUP and sleep in it 😐
@@heywhohithelights i swear im not attempting to formulate an entire argument or harshly disagree w/ you, but it being gross and unhygeinic is really what makes grunge what it is. the literal exact definition of the word grunge is "grime/dirt" so i mean it's never really grunge unless it grosses some people out. not saying everyone should stop showering and shit, but being genuinely grunge just really is more of a lifestyle and not so much a look, although a look has been attached to it

haha i got them from my mouth :/ . but you can buy real and fake ones on etsy. and then i just put wire on them and attached them to hoops i had :)
Ok so, I don't leave any other makeup on my face other than for my eyes. And it all happend when i accidently fell asleep wearing like eyeliner and a darker shade of eyeshadow (on my water line)....and then i rleaised it acc looked really good. (I dont do this often, i promise) 😂

It sounds kinda weird to say, but I love the way you speak! Also really impressive how decisive you are with your makeup placement, I fret over every brush stroke haha.
it looks great on you but this was really hard to follow even though i watched it multiple times before even attempting to follow. i ended up with a completely diff much much darker look :/ i think a close up on the eye and showing the colors you are using wouldve helped a lot

Just wanted to say thank you, loved this look

I lived through the grunge era thru my late teens and early 20s and it was my lifestyle. I also worked as a pro makeup artist back then. What gave you the idea this is how we wore our makeup? We didn't do it this way. Yours is very pretty but its also very messy. The only thing that was messy like was eyeliner and smokey eyeshadow. Eyebrows were thin and very manicured, and lines were very clear except for the smokey eyes of course. Skin was almost universally matte and full coverage. Freckles were were considered childlike so almost always covered rarely emphasized. Cheeks were never highlighted and contouring was non existent. Lips were heavy, dark and matte browns, burgundy, reds, blacks or blues. Good job skipping fake lashes. We didnt bother with those back then. ✌️ PS. The grunge look came from sleeping in it and reworking it bc we were lazy 😂
