I’m a guy and I am finally in a position where I can wear makeup to enhance my emo/gothness. I look forward to trying this look!
I am a beginner at make up and I have hooded eyes so this was a challenge so I had to tweak it to my hooded eye shape and it came out so nicely. I love this look and thank you so kindly for this guide. This helped a lot! Your make up skills are so good. I hope to be as good as you one day =}

@@palestar828 I know how you feel. I used to think no make up would be suited for me but if you perhaps look up make up that are for hooded eyes. Maybe that can help you out. Certainly gave me a lot of tips. When trying out Santana's make up toturial. I tried to tweak it to my eye shape,like yours knowing that would look slightly better of me with the style of make up. Truly hope it helps :)

hiiii, im a 52 year old fan hellooooo, and just wanted to say I've been putting on eye shadow on my lips just the same way u did for decades now, especially in the eighties when i was a teenager and started wearing make up, girl we had no black lipstick no nothing we had to invent everything same with goth clothing put on black eye pencil on lips and vaseline on top and there black lipstic, but thats what made it so cool everyone had a unique look bc we made our own clothing.... i also love this look you did, its just gorgeous💕

I've been doing the same thing with my black lipstick. I just find that it helps it stay put a little better. Otherwise it's a nightmare of a mess when it gets everywhere.
Same. Even in the 90s, black lipstick was not as readily available as it is now so we had to MacGyver it sometimes lol.

using the side of the brush instead of the very tip of the brush makes this step much easier!! hopefully it helps some of you

I forgot to mention the time period. Probably around 1981 when things really got rippin'. There was a time when nobody would even dye their hair in this country.... except for maybe old ladies and the silvery blue thing.... which is awesome lol

Bess your heart. I've done that. I have ADHD and caffeine helps me stay focused especially with this Adderall shortage that the US has been having. However, sometimes I overdo it just a little bit and I end up feeling panicky like that. Just kind of breathe through it next time that happens and try to find something you enjoy doing until it passes. Definitely pay attention to if you feel like you're having heart palpitations though. Something that helps with anxiety is to try to find something tangible in the room. Stop something you can look at, something you can taste, something you can smell, etc. It helps until it passes.

Try a very tiny dot in the same spot on each side where u want the points to be in a even lineup and then make.your lines would be my method for attempting the inner corner I don't have steady enough hands to do inner corner lol well don't makeup too !

6:34 I struggele with inner conner wings as well, but I think we might have the same problem. At your right eye, it seemed like you drew the first line by following your eyelid's curve, causing the wing to be curved too, then at your left eye you drew more like a straight line. At least, for me it seemed like it. But I guess you might have already realized this-😅
But to comment on the point of the video as well, I loved it so much, I will try it ASAP. The makeup really just turned out so damn good, I HAVE to give this a shot❤
Honestly I love lashes. Have a random black splotch? Doll lashes. Wanna be dramatic? Doll lashes. Want to feel absolutely amazing? Doll lashes lol.
I used to wear my makeup like this back when I was in hs. Except we didn't really mess with fake eyelashes back then unless it was japanese one for lolita fashion. Idk why but watching you transform with this look just reminded me of the old days and it looks perfect on you, like a vampiress. I looked so horrible with shaved brows and since I have hooded-double lid eyes I looked terrible with this makeup xD Unfortunately I was never able to follow the batbrat looks I really wanted to in those days. My structure is not built for it.
