I can concur with your results. Aguila super extra works well at 50 yards in the ruger precision rimfire. I will say that the cci standard velocity does better at longer ranges (100+ yards) as 22lr does not handle the slow down from supersonic to subsonic. The bullet has a high tendency of tumbling and throws accuracy put the window shooting at 100 yards and beyond. CCI standard velocity stays a tad below the supersonic threshold and makes for a highly accurate round for the price.
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it! I am going to continue to test a couple of .22lr rounds from the ruger precision and so far I do like the cci standard, minimags, norma tac 22, and the aguila super extra.
The RPR is a good 22lr. I found an improvement in accuracy when I switched to a more vertical pistol grip. CCI Standard is a very accurate, economical round. If you want to get better groups with it, sort the rounds by weight, using a reloading scale and shoot the weighed lots separately. You will find, the flyers will almost be eliminated, under the right shooting conditions. Keep testing and let us know your results.
