I'm so glad you accepted this tour guide assignment, as I have never seen Paris like you filmed it. Lovely! I hope you enjoyed your time there and that being a tour guide suites your life at this time. That would mean more wonderful videos for all of us!

Thank you very much, Karen. I appreciate it! I did it enjoy it, but it was also a lot of hard work, so it won’t be all that often. (Also with my youngest daughter still living at home). But I have signed up for a few trips next year 🤗

Well, that was a treat! I lived in Paris in 1985/1986. You're accent is spot on. Beautiful. Thank you!

A beautifully filmed and very informative video Helle. Your last few videos have left me quite envious and yet somewhat sorry for your poor feet! I do hope in the coming winter you will find time to sit back and relax a little before the coming year, as I have a feeling it is going to be another busy (and I hope wonderful) time. You always bring a smile.

Aw, thanks for your kind comment, Brian. I do actually also get - or take - time to just sit and relax (and knit, or read); it’s just not necessarily that entertaining to watch ☺️ And as to envy re the Paris trip: I was exhausted every night after a 12-14 hour work day, which you don’t see either 😊 All the best and thanks 🍂🤎

Once again Elle, you have me memorized! Paris is on my bucket list of places to visit before I die! What a magnificent view of it! But maybe I'll never get to see it, France is so far away from Australia! But I can dream! I look forward eagerly to part two! Take care as always!

So glad to hear it brought you a bit of joy, Katherine, but don’t say you won’t get to see Paris just because it’s far away. That reminds me of smth I should probably say in part II, but I’ll say it to you here: A man in the group had lost his wife in June. She was supposed to go to Paris with him, but in stead of succumbing to his grief at home, he chose to go ahead with the trip on his own, with this group. He was fit, alert, positive - and 82!! So never say never! 😎💪

Beautiful video which brings up old memories. I visited Paris in May 2001, at 13 years old, and stayed with my parents in a Hotel in the La Defense district. La Défense is certainly not the most beautiful part of Paris, but still quite impressive. Maybe I'll visit Paris again this spring. You just have to love all the small streets and cafes in the old part of Paris, in May the city is really magical and rightly called "City of Love".

Thank you. You should definitely go again if you haven’t been there since you were a child; it’s magical - especially if you saunter around those small quaint streets ☺️

Just seen this and l loved it. Thank you so much for showing me Paris from your perspective. I went to Paris with my husband for our Ruby Wedding and while it was wonderful, we had an 😊amazing meal on the Bateau Mouche at sunset, l felt l missed so much because he does have a rather analytical approach to sightseeing, so l felt your approach filled in a lot of the gaps for me. Thank you

Thanks very much, so glad you enjoyed it. As a former academic, I can be analytical about things, too, but more and more I prefer looking at things with my heart, especially something as
      ‘irrational’ as Paris 🥰

Thanks so much, Helle. It's been nearly 30 since I've been to this wonderful city, called Paris. Never been a tour guide and it surely seems challenging, but you did it so well. Unfortunately after so much planning we missed our trip to Prague, due to an illness. Still not quite over feeling let down, but hopefully in the spring. Autumn is upon us, I hope you enjoy.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, Marcus. Surely and hopefully in the spring then. I went to Prague at that time, and it was lovely. Thanks for your comment 😌

Interesting, if you remove the H from your name, you are "Elle" in french. Im learning French and the French do not pronounce the letter H, which is silent.
