Because this is white belt Tae Kwon Do level technique and I've never seen any O Bruce Lee student (first, second, and third gen) kick like this. Purpose of using relaxed tension in the legs for OJKD style kicks allows them to be non-telegraphic when delivered from bai-jong stance.
